(Ver 1.0) This has always been a very special time of year. Sure, I get a lot of criticism from people who say they are Christians and for some reason do not want to take time to focus on a time when much of the world celebrates one of the most joyous events in human history. Most informed people know it is not the actual date (Dec 25) of the birth of Jesus, yet this was a day chosen by someone to celebrate and since no one was there to see it, why not join in on the joy and stop the fighting?

It is high time to stop the fighting in the church over things that are not an issue unless someone wants to make it one. Until there is Biblical evidence proving the actual specific day, I will be happy to celebrate the birth of God giving us the most valuable Gift named Jesus with or without you. And, yes, I know the name Jesus is an English transliteration of a Greek name that is a Greek transliteration of a Hebrew name. Yet Jesus Himself is not stupid and He knows I speak English and when I speak about Him, I have no fear of condemnation from Him because He Loves us All and is more tolerant towards us, than many critics know.

Isa 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This time of year, I like to think of Isaiah 9:6 and John 3:16 and remember them as God’s Ultimate Gift Giving Declarations of Infinite Love. Because God chose to personally come into the world we live in, in the form of human flesh, He qualified Himself to be our Spotless Lamb sacrifice. God became a baby male child to be born in the city of David, called Bethlehem, even though this was not the city where His physical parents lived. Because God put it in the heart of the government to take a census of their people, Joseph and Mary were commanded to be in Bethlehem at the precise time that was prophesied for Messiah to appear on earth. What an amazing God He is to align everything to watch over His Words to perform them for His preplanned and designed time of Gift giving.

It should completely amaze us all that God would plan such a display of Love even before there was a time when one human had sinned that needed His salvation. This too in another amazing Love characteristic of our God. This teaches us God is an ultimate Supply for every need we may be having right now, whether it be spiritually, emotionally, mentally, or physically. Anyone that displays this kind of capacity of Love after humans have acted so hateful towards Him is too wonderful for us to imagine how truly Good God Is!

These are just a few of so many reasons why I am thankful for a God that saved me ~2000 years ago before I heard about it to receive it. I am also very thankful to have be trusted enough to be called to teach His Amazing Holy Words of the Good News salvation that is available to us all for free. I am finally thankful for people like you whom God loves that take the time to read and study the Bible with me.

So, join me to take the Love of God to the world that could die and go to hell without someone like us to share the Good News birth of Jesus and why He appeared in the form of a helpless baby. This took amazing humility for God to come into the world naked and die on a cross for us naked. Can you imagine God doing this for people that were mocking and cursing him? Yet He cried, “Father forgive them, they do not know what they do”. What amazing Love this was. And this Love is still available for anyone to experience today.
