Giving Thanks to God in Every day of 2023 and 2024 to Come
2Co 9:11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
2Co 9:12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
(Ver 1.1) Even though the times look dark, the God who created us is our overcoming Light of Truth. Good will always prevail and triumph over evil. Satan’s future is already written and will be coming to him sooner than he thinks. For those that are following the darkness the LORD Jesus is nigh at the door ready to catch us away. The time is much closer than anyone knows for His coming. Therefore, today we look to God the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ. We give Him all honor, power, and praise. We give Him thanks for everything He has done for, given to us and will do through us. Here is a short list of things to be thankful for:
- He Loved us so much that He saved us.
- His Grace is sufficient for every day’s trying circumstances.
- His Power is available to save, heal, deliver us now and He will.
- His mercy is never ending.
- His Truth is greater than any lie of the enemy.
- His Spirit lives on the inside of us to guide, comfort, and help us.
- He will never leave us, forsake us, or abandon us, so that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper I will not fear, what can man do unto me.
The church is destined in prophecy to be an overcoming and victorious bride that has made herself ready for His appearance. Give Him thanks today for what He has given to us and then praise Him for He is worthy to be praised. For all those in the USA, celebrate being thankful every day, not just today. God continue to richly bless us, protect us, and He will deliver us from every plot of the evil one. Praise the LORD! Expect the sudden power of God to be seen at any and every moment and He will be there for you.

How are my Bible Lessons? Please Tell me what You Think.
I have been praying and considering shortening my Bible lessons. When I began teaching on the internet several years ago I wrote very short lessons but did not have many readers interested in them. As the length and the detail of the lessons increased I noticed a significant increase in readers and subscribers. However, I have heard from a few comments that these lessons have become a little too long and I tend to agree because of the time it takes me to write them. I believe I will reduce the length to find a middle ground and just try to write more frequently.
I do know that I cannot please everyone no matter what I select. Some people are detail oriented types like me that want to dig deep to find the hidden buried treasures of God’s Word. Others are generally high level types that like the brief overview big picture view of God’s Word first. While I try to do both occasionally I will always tend to lean towards the detailed view primarily. So please share with me what you think of shorter more frequent lessons. If you have an opinion which you like better, I would like to hear it. I will always value hearing about what you are thinking. Any positive input that you can provide will be helpful. Finally if you have any Bible subjects or questions that you would like to learn about please share those also. Thank you for your input and God Bless. — Agapegeek

2011 Merry Christmas to my Friends
Thank You to all of my 2011 readers. I pray that you have a blessed Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of the King of Kings on the earth. We owe our existence to our Lord and Savior Jesus. Without His shed blood we would all be lost in our sin. We depend upon our Lord for our future. And we continue to look up knowing His coming is so near. We will always be eternally grateful for all that He has given to us. So to all of my friends in Christ I bless you with all of the Love that I can share in a note. Keep Jesus in the forefront of your mind and think only of His goodness. Have a blessed season and if I never meet you in person here on the earth I will look forwward to meeting you in eternity and I will have more Bible studies soon.

The old Word Press site will still direct you automatically to the new address, but this will simplify things considerably for people wanting to find me easily. Also I am considering changing the look and feel of the site, but I have not made that decision because people usually do not like things to change. You can see that by all of the fuss people have recently made with the massive Facebook changes.

This is my message of Christmas Blessings to those that take the time to read my Bible lessons. I greatly appreciate your time that you spend studying the Bible with me. This is the season when many of us get so busy that we don’t take the time to stop and give God thanks for all that He has blessed us with. So as I take this time to say thanks to you for making an effort in learning more of God’s Word, take a moment and thank God with me for all that He has given to us this year. I believe that the sign posts on the road to life tell us that the time is very, very short for the coming of the Lord. I do not know if 2011 is the year that He will return or not, but I can tell you that we better be ready. There is a lesson that Jesus taught us in Matthew 25 when He said that “the Kingdom of heaven is like 10 virgins who went to meet the bridegroom”. Jesus said five were wise and ready and five were foolish. As the foolish virgins went for more oil, Jesus told us that the bridegroom came. We therefore, know that none of the virgins knew the exact timing of the coming, but that they were all looking for Him to come. Those five that got to go in with Him were those that had made preparations. Take the time before the New Year comes to evaluate your oil supply and refill it now. The more that we follow and do what Jesus taught, the more likely we are to be ready for His soon return. So I pray that you have a very blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year. I also thank you for all of your comments and emails.

My Blog Post Version Control System!
(ver 1.0) One thing I learned as a computer programmer is the usefulness of an organized control system for determining the version of what we are releasing, using, writing, reading or whatever. So I have decided to implement a version control system for my postings. Since I am constantly attempting to make them better and eliminate mistakes, I will post a document version at the very beginning of every document posted. The first posting will be (ver 1.0) and this one usually has a lot of typing mistakes in it. As I continue to update the document I will increment each posted document with a new version number (ver 1.1, ver 1.2… etc.) Since software has for a long time done this, I believe it is only fair to tell readers that I am not perfect and I make mistakes. I then go back and reread the posts a few days later or even weeks later and try to improve them. Sometimes I put in new things God has taught me about the subject. So each version may have enhancements as well as fixes. Feedback also helps when I get questions about specific things that I may have omitted or not fully explained. This is why I have implemented the version system for my posts. It would be really nice if the WordPress people would implement some automatic version control system that would keep track of your revisions. However, until they do, I will try to take on this task manually. God Bless!
