Understanding the Hidden Spiritual Family Structure of God’s Household! Beginning to See the Identities of the Women in God’s Family! Part 6

(Ver 1.3)  This is now Part 6 in a series of extremely advanced Bible studies about the Hidden Spiritual Structure of the Family of God.  I have covered a tremendous amount of fresh information and several radically new concepts that I cannot take the time to go back and repeat them all.  So if you have not read this series from the beginning I would strongly suggest that you go back and start reading with “Part 1”.  Then as you go through the lessons, I would also recommend that you take notes on all of the key points.  The ultimate goal of today’s lesson is to introduce you to the first woman in the family of God.  I guess technically speaking she is my first woman, but she is the last woman in the family of God.  But, God says the last shall be first and the first shall be last (Mat 19:30) so I think I am being scriptural to teach them in the reverse order.  That was a joke!   Today’s lesson will be focused primarily on the identity of just the woman who is titled the “daughter-in-law” in the family of God.  You may recall that in the family of 5, we have 2 men and 3 women.  While we are not given the ages of the family members, there are younger and older family members implied by the titles given.  The son must be younger than his mother and his father and the daughter is also logically younger than her mother and her father.  Therefore the most recent female in the family of God is the one that is called   the “daughter” who subsequently becomes the “daughter-in-law” and both of these titles you will eventually discover apply to us, the Church of Jesus Christ.  That is where we are going today in this lesson.

I have taught on this subject before, but not in the specific context to the family of God prophecy found in Micah 7:6 so I will repeat some things while I also explore some new subjects that I probably have never taught on before.  As we continue through this lesson series you should begin to observe the fact that God uses repetitious patterns throughout the Bible.  I will try to point out as many of these as I run across in today’s lesson.  Learning to recognize patterns found in the Bible will assist you greatly in your knowledge and understanding of God’s Word.  We will soon discover that this family of 5 was a hidden pattern found in many other parts of the Bible.  For example, in an earlier lesson, I showed you that it was found in one place in Genesis 20:12 where God describes Abraham and Sarah’s relationship as a typical match for the family of 5 pattern revealed in Micah 7:6:

Gen 20:12  And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.

God tells us that Sarah was Abraham’s half-sister and that they shared a common father, but that they each had different mothers.   Abram and Sarai were therefore half brother and sister and they later married and became husband and wife.  Because Abram’s father Terah is the head of this house, it technically does not matter how many wives that Terah had, they were all still in one family.  This is precisely the 5 family members in one family with the exact titles given to us in Micah 7:6.  There is a father, a son, a daughter, a mother of a daughter and finally the mother of the son who becomes the mother-in-law when the daughter Sari marries Abram.  Do you think this was a coincidence that this occurs in the Bible like that or can you see that it is just a hidden typology like I believe it is?   I am personally convinced that it was an Old Testament hidden pattern of God’s family.  However, this type even goes further than that to fulfill the Micah 7:6 patterns.  God also told Abraham to leave his parents and go to a land that He would show him.

Gen 12:1  Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

This is again a hidden typology of the precise division found within the family of 5 with the 3 parents being divided against the 2 younger children.  Again if you think this is coincidence it would be a mistake to think that way.  In this typology Abram is the son and is a type of Jesus who left His Father’s house in heaven to come to the earth, the land that God would show Him.  Terah (Abram’s father) is of course a type of God the Father who ruled the Kingdom of Heaven.  Sarai would be a type of the Church, the wife of the Lamb of God and we will get into this in much more depth soon.  As in every O.T. type and shadow everything in the story is not a perfect match.  Abraham took his father with him until he finally died.  The fact that Lot was also taken in disobedience was another fact that eventually did occur when Abraham and Lot finally separated.  A shadow will always be a recognizable pattern with some details omitted.  That is just how it works.    Later, I will show you some other 5 things split 3 against 2 as a repeated pattern in some very strange and unusual places in the Bible.  I will try to show you one of these in the next lesson and another one in a future lesson.  Just remember that nothing in the Bible occurs by chance or accident and everything has meaning and significance.  God says the thing that has been is the thing that shall be again and I believe this law is based upon the reality of repeated patterns that have occurred and that will occur again.  We are just now beginning to understand many of them, but that is the nature of how God works.

You may recall that I taught you the male members of the family were based upon the Trinity of God reality and that the Trinity contained the implied existence of females.  But, let me briefly give you a synopsis of some other reasons that I believe that the male members in the Family of God are God the Father and Jesus, God the Son.  One of the key rules that I always use to interpret the Bible, is to always allow the Bible to interpret itself.  Because God is smarter than I am, I look for His meanings and definitions to help me understand what He is attempting to reveal.  In other words I search to see if the Bible backs up what God says in other places.  I always interpret the Bible using only the Bible and I do not search any other books, Bible lessons or commentaries for what some man thinks it says to justify my beliefs.  If God does not confirm my beliefs with only His Word, then I change my beliefs to fit what He says.  Otherwise I would just be teaching you my opinion and that would be worthless.

Mat 10:35  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

From reading in Matthew 10:35 we should know that the Father and the Son are divided against each other.  The Greek word translated as “father” in this verse in Matthew is G3962 and it literally means “the male parent”.  Is this same word ever used to describe God in the N.T.?  If it is not, my interpretation fails immediately.  However, if you do a search using your computer, you should easily find that God is called by this exact Greek word title over 200 times in the N.T.  In order to find these I did a case-sensitive search for the word “Father” and the Greek word G3962 to occur in the same verse.  You can do the exact same thing if you do not believe me.  Therefore, I have concluded that Jesus could have been literally talking about His Father God being the “Father” in Matthew 10:35, by direct and overwhelming scriptural word association.  At the very least you cannot deny that it is not entirely possible based upon this overwhelming evidence.  In Matthew 10:35 the son is called specifically a “man”.  Therefore, we need to determine if Jesus is ever called a “man” in the Bible to confirm if this is also a possible interpretation.  If we cannot find where Jesus is ever called a man, this would shoot down my interpretation categorically.  The Greek word translated as “man” in Matthew 10:35 is G444 and it literally means “manfaced” or “male human being”.  Was Jesus a male human being?

Luk 12:53  The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

As you can see in Luke 12:53, Jesus used a different word for this individual male and it says the father (G3962) will be divided against the “son” (G5207).  Was Jesus ever called a “son” G5207?  If you again search your Bible you will find over 80 Bible verses where Jesus is directly called both a “Son” and a “Man” (G5207 and G444) in the same verse.  Again you do this by searching for both Greek words G444 and G5207 as well as the case sensitive “Son” all in the same verse, your results should match my results.   Finally if you search the N.T. to see how many total times Jesus was ever called a “Son”, you can find over 200 times in the New Testament where Jesus is directly called a “Son” (G5207).  Jesus is either called the “Son of God” or the “Son of Man” in more verses than I could try to name in this lesson.  This is just more confirming overwhelming evidence for the identities of both of the male members of the Family of God.   We can find scriptures that say God is a “Father” and we can find scriptures that say Jesus is both a “Son” and a “Man”.  Again using this evidence it does not conclusively confirm that God the Father and God the Son are the two male members in the family of 5 that Jesus was describing to us, but it also does not rule them out to fit the interpretation either.  Try to search the Bible and find another father and son combination mentioned over 400 times that fits with the exact same 5 family relationship titles.  None that I searched for even came close.  Father Abraham is only mentioned together in a total of 30 verses in the entire Bible.  No other father and son dominate the Bible like God and His Son Jesus.  The evidence is overpowering to me, but I’m sure we will come across some skeptics out there who can come up with reasons why they are not God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.  If is funny that God will always allow you to make the choice to be wrong.  God will never prove anything in the Bible beyond a reasonable doubt.  If God did that He would leave no one any freewill choice to believe or not to believe and God is not going to do that.

I guess I need to review another aspect that is important to know for our Bible study today.  I want to give you a couple of verses that God reveals some very relevant information about His family.  I taught on these verses before, but I will reemphasize them for your further benefit in today’s lesson to make sure you understand what is being stated:

Eph 3:14  For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Eph 3:15  Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

You should be able to see that these verses clearly inform us that God the Father has or at the very least had a spiritual family.  This verse further implies that God the Father is the Head of this family.  In this verse we are told the specific location of this family and it is explicitly stated to be in two separate realms of reality.  One is a spiritual dimension called heaven and the other is a physical dimension found here on the earth.  Wow, that is very clear to me.   God is also clearly stated to be the named and titled Father (G3962) in this family and Jesus is clearly implied to be the Son in this family.  The implication is given that the family is very large in order to reside in the fullness of these two separate dimensions.  I also want to point out that we are told that this family has God’s name.   This is clearly self-evident that God the Father was the spiritual head of the household and that He is also the husband in a relationship with a wife in order to have a Son and to give them all, His name.  Taking the husband’s name during marriage is a standard practice and tradition originated from God, but it is often times ignored in the modern world.  The modern wife sometimes does not always desire to take the name of her husband when they are married, but this is clearly not how God intended it to be.

If you search the O.T. closely you will get some more confirmation in serveral verses that say people on the earth have been given God’s name like in a marriage.  We can find some of these verses in 2 Chronicles 7:14, Isaiah 43:7, Jeremiah 7:10, 11, 14, 30, 25:29, 32:34, 34:15 and Daniel 9:18-19.  If the family of God has been given His name, what is this name?  That is a very tough question to try to answer in a concise manner, since God is revealed by many names in the Bible.  I think I will not even try to answer that question today, because it will take too long to get you to see it.  For now, just try to see the fact that God’s family is called by His name and this implies that a marriage has taken place.   What I want you to do right now, is to dig a little deeper and see what else these verses in Ephesians are saying?  Often to see the deep things of God, you need to look up the word definitions to see what they say in the original languages or learn what God’s definition of the words are in other parts of the Bible.  I want you to focus in on the Greek word translated as “family” and see what is revealed in it:

As if feminine of a derivative of G3962; paternal descent, that is, (concretely) a group of families or a whole race (nation): – family, kindred, lineage.

Many times in the Greek language one word is derived from another word which is the case in this definition.  Often times the gender of either a male or a female is also assigned within the definition and this is exactly the case for both the word GG3965 and G3962 that it is derived from.  This Greek word has some awesome detailed information within it according to the Strong’s definition.  The general definition is concerning children that have descended from their parents.  But, also notice that the usage of the word is not limited to a single generation and that it can apply to all of the generational descendants.  This Greek word is very much like a family tree diagram containing all of the family’s relatives in the lineage that originated from the specific set of parents.  But, it actually goes way beyond that as you can see.  This word G3965 can refer to the entire nation of people that have descended for example from a specific named man like a Jacob.  This is another common pattern found throughout the Bible.  You will see many men stated in Genesis that originated nations that were spread out over the globe.  Almost any nation of people mentioned in the Bible can be traced back to the originator who was the father of them all.  As you should know Jacob was the originator of the natural nation of Israel here on the earth.  But, God changed his name from Jacob to Israel.  Where did this name come from?  Can this be the answer to my question earlier of what God’s name is that was given to his family on the earth?  I believe that it is but I still can’t explain that fully right now.   I will tell you that I am convinced that Israel is God’s name and we will learn more about why I believe that as we continue.  I will tell you that the definition in Strong’s dictionary for the name “Israel” means “He will rule as God”.   Now knowing the definition of the name “Israel” does that help you to determine who the name actually belongs to?  Who will rule as God except for God?

Please notice that this Greek word translated as “family” is said to be a feminine derivative of the Greek word G3962.  This Greek word G3962 is the counter masculine reference to the male parent, so the “family” word G2965 is referring to a female family member only.  Is this not the pictured pattern of creation and Adam and Eve?  Doesn’t the Bible say that Adam came first and then Eve was formed (1 Tim 2:13) and that she was taken from Adam?  Uh oh?  It seems that God does have women in His spiritual family after all and that these women can be found both in heaven and on the earth.  I also believe that God is giving you a repeated clue to where women come from in both the natural as well as the spiritual realms.  They are always taken from the male.  I firmly believe that the origination of all these things is from God who is concretely called a male throughout the Bible.   But we also understand from reading 1 Corinthians 11 that there is a circular pattern within God’s creation.  From the man came the first woman, and after that every new man came through a woman.  Wow this is really deep.  Nothing self-exists or created itself, except for God the Father.  So if God describes a spiritual woman she must have originated from God the Father.  But, we also understand that a woman can conceive and produce others like her, either natural or spiritual.  I hope you are beginning to see that repeated patterns is a dominate theme found within the Bible.  God uses these types of patterns because they work first, but also because we can learn about one and can easily apply what we learned to the others.  When Eve was taken from the side of Adam, I am convinced that this was a spiritual pattern that existed before in heaven and that it is a further prophetical pattern to what will occur again.  I know all of these assertions are very complex statements and I do not have time to fully explain them all in the level of detail that I need to today.  If you are struggling with any of my statements, please be patient and continue to learn as much as you can and hopefully I will cover everything that I need to share as I continue.

Here is where I will start to deviate a little bit from many natural dominated thinking people.  I do not believe that a spiritual woman is exactly like what we think of when we think of natural women on the earth.  However, I believe that they both certainly do possess very similar characteristics and features.  Consider this Greek word G3965 again.  It seems to at least imply the existence of a female which can be defined as an entire nation of people (including males and females).  This will become increasingly more apparent as I continue today as I attempt to describe to you a spiritual woman in the family of God.  I think now is the time to introduce you to the last woman in the family of God.  I want to identify her by examining her title as she is called in Matthew 10:35 and Luke 12:53 to be the “daughter-in-law” and then I will search the Bible for God’s usage and definition of this word to find out how the subject is developed in the other key parts of the Bible.  Let’s first examine the Greek definition of the word G3565, translated as “daughter-in-law” in Matthew 10:35 and Luke 12:53:

From a primary but obsolete verb νύπτωnuptō (to veil as a bride; compare the Latin “nupto”, to marry); a young married woman (as veiled), including a betrothed girl; by implication, a son’s wife: – bride, daughter in law.

Here is the Strong’s definition of the Greek word translated as “daughter-in-law” from Matthew 10:35 and Luke 12:53.  This definition is also very revealing in what it contains.  A daughter-in-law is clearly defined to be a “son’s wife”.  Uh Oh, again?  Fortunately for us we have a Son in the family of God that is qualified by title to be her husband.  She is also synonymously called the “bride” in the sense of a marriage ceremony being performed to someone’s son.  Of course Jesus is this Son, but does He also have a wife?  I have heard many preachers say that the church is not the Bride of Christ, yet these men speak out and teach in error and prove their ignorance of God and the rest of the subjects under discussion in this lesson.  If you have read my other Bible lessons you already know that a covenant is a marriage in the eyes of God (Malachi 2:14, Jeremiah 31:32).  If you do not understand this you should go read the lesson series about “Understanding Bible Covenants”.  So if Jesus is the Son of God in this family we should be able to recognize that the church is the woman that is now in covenant marriage to Him.  Are you in the New Covenant with Jesus?  If you answer that question yes, then you are the Bride of Christ.  This direct knowledge would make the church the “daughter-in-law” in the family as well as the “daughter”.  But, we will need to confirm this information using the Bible rather than to speculate or assume its existence.  It is very interesting that this Greek word translated as “daughter-in-law” in Matthew 10:35 and Luke 12:53 is only used a total of 6 other times in the entire N.T.   In the majority of every other reference in the Bible when it is used, it is always being associated to Jesus as the Groom with this word being His bride.  Do you think that is a clue for us?  Let’s go find out.  The first time you can find this word (G3565) after Matthew and Luke, it is used in the book of John:

Joh 3:29  He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

Here is some very strong evidence for the identities of these two family members in the family of 5 and they are indirectly called the “son” and the “daughter-in-law”.  In this verse, John the Baptist is speaking about Jesus and he is describing Jesus to be the “Bridegroom” with the “bride”.   The term “bride” here is the exact same Greek word used as “daughter-in-law” from our riddle.  John could have actually said, “He that has the daughter-in-law is the bridegroom”.  I do not know how it can be any clearer than that.  Jesus actually calls Himself the “Bridegroom” in several places like Matthew 9:15, 25:5, Mark 2:19-20 and Luke 5:34-35.  I believe this is God’s way of giving us very specific clues about a hidden family structure.  God uses very specific words in limited capacity to show us related verses spread out in random patterns.  God is definitely revealing the identities of two of the family members directly and others are implied by logical association.  For example, you never have a bride without a mother of the bride also existing previously.  You never have a son without a mother-in-law of the bride also existing.  You will also never have a son without a father and that is everyone in the entire family that Jesus named.  It is now time to show you the direct named identity of the bride (daughter-in-law) in the Bible.  This is the woman that has married the son in the family of God.  Here is another scripture that you need to look at very closely:

Rev 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Here in this verse we have a bride and her husband directly named.  Knowing the definition of the Greek word G3565 (bride), we can easily substitute the word translated here as “bride” for the synonym “daughter-in-law” and make the verse say this legally:

Rev 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a daughter-in-law (bride) adorned for her husband.

Because God has used the exact same word from Matthew 10:35 and Luke 12:53, I believe that God is making a direct confirmation and a connection to who the identity of the bride is, in the family of 5.  We can clearly see the connection based upon this titled commonality.  Please recall that a commonality is a shared characteristic or feature of two separate entities.  But, it also helps us in logical discussions to identify the same entity being spoken of in two different places in the Bible.  If we can find enough shared attributes it makes it very easy to conclude that the one is the same as the other.  When you are interpreting the Bible, these are the types of clues that you are looking for.  You want to find shared connections that help you to establish the truth.  God is a highly intelligent being and He never chooses His words randomly.  Every word of God has a designed purpose and it is an intentional carrier of the knowledge, understanding and wisdom of God.  However, God did not write the Bible in a simple text book style of writing with easily laid out facts and bullet lists of every displayed subject.   God intentionally wrote the Bible more in a designed shotgun shell approach that spreads the information out in seemingly random patterns.  God did this so that He could conceal the information until the time that it could be revealed.

Let me briefly tell you about two laws of Bible interpretation that will hopefully help you in understanding the Bible.  There is the Law of First mention that is used by God to help define a subject under discussion.  You can go back and find the first time the subject is mentioned and you should be able to learn something that will help you to understand the entire subject.  I use this law frequently in my Bible interpretations and it has never failed me.  Conversely by the law of opposition or opposites, if there exists a law of first mention, there must also exist a law of last mention.  It is exactly like if you are told about north you must logically assume there exists a south.  If the law of first mention introduces you to a subject, then by the law of last mention, the subject must be concluded in those verses.   So when I looked up the Greek word translated as “daughter-in-law” I immediately found the last woman with this title in the book of Revelation.  Reading in Revelation 21 and 22 she is called this title of “Bride” 3 times and this is conclusive proof that this is the last woman that will be in covenant with the living God.  Ok, I just taught you a bunch of stuff in one paragraph that is very important.  I pray that you did not let it blow right by you.

What I want you to see is that the bride or the daughter-in-law revealed in this verse in Revelation has a name and this is exactly what we are looking for to solve the riddle.  We are intentionally trying to find the names of all of the women in the Family of God and here is the first name that is very important to learn about.  I have taught on this subject multiple times in other lessons, so I will not repeat everything all over again, but I will try to hit the important points.  The name of the woman is directly called “New Jerusalem”.  That is a very revealing and important name.  First off the word “new” is an adjective qualifier that separates this Jerusalem from every other Jerusalem.  If I say “I have a new car” you immediately know that this car is not the same as my “old car”.  I would have to omit the “new” adjective from the statement and say “I just fixed my car” or “look at my car” for you to understand that it could possibly be the same car that I already had.   This is a fact that you need to understand completely.  To qualify something means you have modified the meaning of the noun and limited the scope of it’s definition or you have restricted the definition by giving everyone a specific case exception.  Do you understand this concept?  If it was not important, I would not be asking you this question.  If you do not understand this concept, please go and look up the word “qualify’ in an online dictionary and find the definition that I have given you and then look for examples of its usage and application.  You can also explore the subject of adjectives and see how they are utilized within the English language.   What I am trying to say is that the “New Jerusalem” is not the same Jerusalem found throughout the Bible.  I do not know why this concept causes many Christians to get confused, but it does do that.

The word “Jerusalem” occurs well over 700 times in the Bible and that is a lot of verses to analyze all of them.  It is widely taught by many Christians and theologians that every verse that names Jerusalem is God speaking about the same natural city found in the middle-east today.  However, I have discovered a greater truth found in the Bible and we must consider this new information in order to interpret these other 700 verses correctly.  The first time “Jerusalem” occurs directly it appears to be in the book of Joshua chapter 10.  It would appear reading down the chapter that Jerusalem existed prior to the nation of Israel possessing it.  Interesting isn’t it?  It would also appear that this city was inhabited by “Jebusites” prior to Israel taking it.  It further says in the Bible that before Jerusalem was called by this name it was originally called “Jebus”.  The word translated as Jebus means “trodden”.  I could very easily get off the main subject and probably write you a book about the subject of Jerusalem, but I will not do that today.  What I want you to embrace is a fact that the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21:2 is NOT the same city as most other places that Jerusalem is mentioned in the Bible.  The natural city of Jerusalem in the Middle East today is not the city that is described to be coming down from heaven in this verse in Revelation 21:2.  There are many reasons that I say that, but I do not have time to explain them all today.

Another aspect that is essential to grasp from Revelation 21:2, is the fact that God says a spiritual woman is a “city”.  This concept is very close to the definition of the Greek word G3965 where we discovered a woman could be viewed as a nation of related people.  God uses a city as a symbolic representation for a far greater spiritual truth.  The book of Revelation is covered with symbolic language and this helps us to understand the unseen spiritual things that are written there.  This is also God’s way of giving you a definition without saying this is a definition.  Since the city is coming down from heaven we must logically conclude that she is a spiritual representation and not an actual physical city.  If you examine the Bible very closely you will observe this is another repeatable pattern found in some very unusual places.  A city in the Bible is often referred to as a female, a mother, a daughter, a sister or a bride.  For example, a city is again called a woman in Revelation 17:18.  However, this woman is named “Mystery Babylon the Great” and she is called the mother of whores.  I could give you many more Bible examples of a city being described to be a woman, but I believe I have made my point.

This city in Revelation 21:2 is also called a “Holy” city and that again disqualifies all the other cities with the same name that do not possess the “holy” attribute.  These are not hard concepts to grasp;  but they are difficult for many religious people to accept because they have been taught wrong.   It is many times very difficult to overcome the false doctrines of men because most of them were never taught to intentionally deceive people.  Most preachers who teach in error do so out of ignorance and not for intentional evil deception.  Many very good Christians have taught erroneous doctrines and totally believed they were true.  I guess I need to get back to my main subject.

Let me briefly try to explain exclusion using qualifier words to separate things.  If I have 5 cars parked in my driveway and I hand you some car keys and say go drive the “blue” car to the store and buy us some food.  With this verbal statement, I have excluded every other car that is not blue.  You immediately know that the keys that I just gave you do not fit or start the red car, or the green car, or the yellow car or even the white car.  This is what God is doing with the adjectives of “New” and “Holy” and He is describing to you a “city” that never existed before and the keys that He has given to you only fits this “new holy” city.  God has linked a “bride” and a “daughter-in-law” directly to a city named Jerusalem and God separates her using two evocative adjectives of holy and new.  By the law of opposition or opposites, we understand that this means this bride is not the unholy Jerusalem and neither is she the old or the previous Jerusalem and that is some very powerful hidden information to who the other two women are in the family of God.  But we will not get to them until later as we continue to learn.  Remember the prophecy of Micah 7:6?  It says the daughter will be opposed to her mother and the daughter-in-law will be opposed to her mother-in-law.   These are exclusionary acts of God being stated.  Since the New Jerusalem is both the daughter and the daughter-in-law we must logically associate that a division is occurring between that which was unholy and that which was old from this newly revealed bride.  A separation is occurring of one woman from two other women.  God is separating one new city from two other cities.  God is separating one new covenant from two previous covenants.  Wow, I’m not sure if I should have told you that yet.  Hang in there and I’ll prove it all later.  Let’s define the word Holy to see what God is saying to us.

Here are definitions for both the Greek and the Hebrew words translated as “holy”.  There are many words here that are relevant to see.  To sanctify or to consecrate are both concepts that means to set apart.  Again we have the concept of division occurring.  It is funny how God repeats patterns in the Bible over and over.  The word sanctify comes from another word that means “to make clean”.  I cannot personally read any of these definitions and not think of myself and the rest of the church of Jesus Christ.  In the Word of God it is the church that are called to be as saints, we have been sanctified and set apart, bought with a price and we were cleansed by the blood of the Lamb.  The only “holiness” that humans possess is that which has been freely given to us by the grace of God.  However, this free gift of righteousness qualifies us for being holy.  I feel very confident that the Church is scripturally qualified to be this Holy City called the New Jerusalem, but we will get more confirming witnesses to help you see it.

1Pe 2:9  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Why does God call the church a “Holy Nation of people”?  These are all spiritual names, titles and descriptions of us His new Bride.  This bride is however a spiritual woman in covenant with Jesus now.  We therefore as a holy nation of people qualify to be the city that is named Holy Jerusalem.  I sure hope you are getting what I am teaching today.  If you do it is going to help you more than I can say.  Once you understand what I am teaching you will know who you are in Christ and what your position of responsibility is in His family. You may continue to read down in Revelation 21 and see two more references to the Bride of Christ that I do not have time to go into today.  They basically say the same things that we have already said, but they give us a second witness to the name of the new “daughter’-in-law”.  In Revelation 21:9 we are specifically told the husband is the Lamb of God and this connects Jesus to be both the groom and the son in the family.  As I continue through this series you will soon begin to see a pattern of cities, women, and covenants that are repeated.  The transition will be from spiritual to natural and then back to spiritual and I wish you knew what I knew to understand that statement.  Just keep it in mind as you continue to learn.

I want to make an interesting point here for the sake of argument.  Is Jesus Christ married to a city of buildings and architectural structures or is He married to the people in the city.  Does the city represent people or buildings?  What is a city in your definition?  Wow, these are tough ones!  I have heard several preachers try to claim that the buildings in the city is what makes up the bride for Jesus and since the church is the Body of Christ, they try to tell us that this city is also our bride.  But, does God care for building structures or for people structures?  Did Jesus die for to save a city or for the people in the city?  Perhaps you think that John 3:16 says “God so loved the city of Jerusalem that He gave His only begotten son…”.  You should begin to see that Jesus is not in covenant with architectural building structures, He is in covenant with the people that make up this spiritual structure.  But it is much more complex than that statement.  The Bible tells us that God is building a new city, but it also says that we (the church) are that city:

1Pe 2:5  Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Hopefully you can see what God is saying in this verse.  God is not building a natural building, the city location in Revelation 21:2 was purely a symbolic reference for a greater spiritual truth.  We are the living building blocks for God’s new dwelling place.  The word translated as “house” is a Greek word G3624 that means “a family”.  There are many implied meanings to these words.  God is building a New Family structure to replace the old family structure.  You could also say based upon what we have learned God is building a Holy family structure to replace the unholy family structure.  God qualifies this family to be a Spiritual House and a new Family and that means it is not a natural one or even one that ever existed before.  The spiritual dimension is an unseen realm of existence to us presently here in the natural realm.  I also want to point out that this New Family being built is associated with Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom, the Lamb of God, the Son of God who is our covenant husband.

Let’s shift our focus on another reference of Christ and His Bride found in the Bible.  If you read the fifth chapter of Ephesians very closely you will discover that God is speaking about a dominant subject of marriage in relationship to husbands and wives.  Now remember that a wife is always a daughter-in-law so this chapter applies to our study.  God talks about this natural subject and says many words of instruction for our benefit.  However in this chapter God has intertwined a spiritual reality that also applies to us the church.  God then ends the entire discussion with a bomb shell unveiling of a great mystery.  Since we are studying about the bride, the daughter-in-law and the marriage to the son we must conclude that this chapter is specifically related to information that we need to understand about our subject.  If you read down the entire chapter you will see many things being intermixed between natural things and spiritual things.  The natural husband is instructed how to treat his natural wife and the natural wife is instructed how to treat he natural husband.  But, during this discussion, God is also speaking about Jesus and the church using the exact same terms.  Finally when you get down to verses 30 through 32 God reveals that this is a great mystery and that He is telling us that Jesus is married to His wife the church.  If you do not understand this I have many other lessons that go into this in more detail.  We have basically seen enough witnesses to confirm the identities of at least 3 of the main family members in the family of 5.  So I’ll give you most of this information in a synopsis picture format so that you can see it more clearly or at least visually.

You may not still know who the mother is or who the mother-in-law is, but we will discover those two women in the next lesson hopefully.  I know I did not give you every scripture that I could have in order to limit the size of the lesson.  So if you would like to understand more of the details about the Bride of Christ being the church you can go read my lesson series called “Understanding the Bride of Christ”.  Also read my series called “Understanding the Book Ruth”.  You see in the book of Ruth, she is specifically called a “daughter-in-law” and since there are not that many women with this title given to us in the Bible, she must apply to the church as an Old Testament typology and her husband must also be a type of Jesus.  Hopefully you know that her husband was Boaz and that he is called the Kinsman redeemer.  All of this information fits with us the Gentile church (Ruth) and Jesus Christ (Boaz) our redeemer with amazing accuracy.  I think I have gone long enough for today and we will continue in the next lesson to identify the other women called the “mother” and the “mother-in-law”.  I hope and pray that you are learning with an open mind.  I know it is totally new to you and I know it is complex beyond our imagination.  I have been attempting to teach it in concise chunks that are manageable while attempting to simplify the subjects as much as I can.  Hopefully after I finish the next two lessons in this series you will have sufficient knowledge and understanding to be able to share it with others.  Thanks for taking the time to study the Bible with me and may the God of creation continue to bless you tremendously in your inner man to give you the spiritual eyes to perceive what He wants you to know.  Until next time continue to fight the good fight of faith.

Understanding the Hidden Spiritual Family Structure of God’s Household! Major Concepts Review! Part 5

(Ver 1.3)  This is now Part 5 in a series of extremely advanced spiritual Bible studies that reveal God’s wisdom as He uses several divine riddles, puzzles, allegories and symbolisms of enormous complexity to hide some truths in the Bible about the spiritual family of God.  Since it has been a long time since I taught in this series, I plan on doing a review lesson of the important concepts given so far while I will also introduce some new perspectives on these topics to help us better understand them.    If you think that you know everything that the Bible says because you have read it or even studied it for many years, you have probably fallen into a state of deception that has caused you to over estimate your knowledge of the hidden truth found in the Bible or under estimate God’s ability to hide information.  This series of lessons should prove to you how little you actually know of God’s Word if nothing else.  I have been studying the Bible for many years and one of the main things that God has revealed to me, is the fact that the more that I know the more I find out that I still need to learn.  If you are not there yet, you have a long way to go and many things left to see.  Perhaps you did not understand my last comment.  I have spoken to many, many highly educated doctors in my life and I noticed one general trait that most all of them possessed.  None of them thought they that knew everything.  Whenever a doctor who has gone to school for many more years than most other professions, comes across a situation that goes beyond their current expertise, they most of the time pass you off to a specialist who knows more than they do in that area.  This is a very humble approach to take for any human.  Humans do not generally like to admit that they do not know everything.  I wish more Christians would take this attitude.  However, I have seen the opposite with many Christians, where those who know the least, think that they know the most and speak out the loudest about things they clearly do not understand.  Why are people like that?  I believe that it could be a pride issuewhere people lack humility to admit their own weaknesses.  I wish I understood how to answer that.  I think God looks at people with astonishment also when they think so highly of themselves.  I remember when God was speaking to Job and He said to Job “Who is this that darkens counsel with words that have no knowledge (Job 38:2).  I think Job forgot who he was speaking to.  I also think that God was speaking a clear message to anyone today that thinks too highly of themselves and their opinions and since that was not my titled subject, I’ll move on.  Sorry for the initial side trip.

The main goal of the next few lessons in this series will be to reveal the mystery of the hidden spiritual female family members of God’s household.  I have already shown you that the male family members are God the Father and God the Son.  But God has revealed to us in the Bible that He also has females in His heavenly family and this new information is potentially controversial because it is based upon new revelations that are not widely known nor taught anywhere and therefore they could easily be rejected by readers.  People often times reject new things automatically because they cannot find any collaborating evidence other than the Bible for what is being taught.  I have had people come to me asking me for my credentials, accreditation or for my mentoring or collaborating teachers that I learned what I was teaching from, but all I have to give them is the Spirit of God and the Words written in the Bible.  This is the only evidence that should be necessary, but they are looking for a human expert in the world to confirm the message and this is a very dangerous approach to take when studying the Bible.  Satan will send you an expert someday to fulfill your itching ears and you will fall for his deception, if you do not know what the Bible actually says.

However, this is the normal beginning for any new revelation from God; you will always be presented the opportunity to either see it or it will cause you to withdraw from it simply because it does not fit with your current church denomination’s doctrine or what your pastor teaches to you to be the truth.  Too many Christians trust the words of man, instead of trusting the Word of God.  What you must realize is that this is not something new for today.   This was a major challenge that the early church was faced with continually.  God brought out new revelation after new revelation and there were no seminaries or Bible experts present to confirm the message spoken by Paul.  Paul would come and teach a completely new radical revelation to the church and they would have to first be open to hear the new information and then they were required to go and prove it using only the Old Testament books of the law and the prophets (Acts 17:11).  If you think this was easy for them to do, you would be wrong.  I’m convinced that Paul had as many problems as I have had and probably many more. If you think this part of the lesson does not apply to you today, you would again be wrong.  I state all of this at the beginning as a warning in order to help set the expectation level in your mind for learning something new.  God clearly tells us the thing that has been is the thing that shall be again (Ecc 1:9).  So I believe that we are in a cycle of that which has happened to the early church is that which is happening again to us before Jesus returns.  God clearly prophesies to us about the former and later rains in Joel 2:23 and Zec. 10:1.  But, few Christians understand what spiritual rain is.  God speaks of natural rain symbolically to help teach us about spiritual things that are poured out and fall from heaven.  I take this type of rain to be revelation, knowledge and understanding from the Spirit of God and His word.  What else can it be?  God is not going to give us any new books to the Bible?  So He must be going to tell us about the books that we already have that were written for our benefit and this information will help us to understand them.

In this series of lessons I will be teaching things from the Bible that are radically new and different, but that does not mean they are not what God has said, so open up your spiritual eyes and ears and perceive with your heart the things that God is about to say today.  I think I said this before, but I’ll repeat it for emphasis; this is one of the most important revelations of the Word of God that God has given to me up until this point in time.  If you study it closely you should begin to understand why I say that.  I believe the knowledge found in this series will open up the Bible to you like never before as it has for me.  Because of this revelation I am able to teach almost any other subject in the Bible with a greater understanding.   It should cause you to understand several new things in the Bible also, like the identities of the women in the book of Revelation.  There are two or three women in the book of Revelation that are not named directly nor identified spiritually or scripturally unless you understand who the women are in the family of God.  This new knowledge should also help you to know your God like never before to see why He is doing certain things that you never understood before.  If you have not read this series from the beginning, I would strongly recommend that you go back and start reading with Part 1.  Let’s start by reviewing the family diagram that I gave you in the last lesson and then we will look at the original prophecy of the family found in Micah 7:6.

Mic 7:6  For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

Only this diagram will fit to solve the riddle given to us in Micah 7:6, Luke 12:53 and Matthew 10:35 where God tells us about the specific individuals in His spiritual family.  You may not understand the diagram yet, but we can only learn new things in progressive steps.  Of course we are challenged to find out who or what God is speaking of in Micah 7:6, because God clearly does not reveal it to us directly.  This is the nature and just some of the methods that God uses for “Hiding the Truth in Plain Sight”.  If you want to learn more about this subject you can go read that series of lessons where I discuss it in more depth.  God does not always tell you everything in any one verse and since Micah 7:6 is presented to us in a riddle format it makes it almost impossible for a natural thinking man to figure out what is being revealed.  What I have discovered in my Bible studies is that God spreads out information in seemingly random patterns; much like a farmer sowing seeds by hand.  You scatter the seeds and you do not know exactly where any one of them will fall.  However, God knew exactly where every seed would fall and He has designed the Bible in a fashion that is very intelligent.  I have discovered that God will present to us clues in multiple books of the Bible and we are required to find them and to put them together correctly in order to understand the picture.  This of course is impossible without God’s help.

God tells us that these are all family members from exactly one house and that they are related to each other using the 6 standard, but uniquely individual family relationship titles given to us in Micah 7:6.  You will have to read the clues found in Luke 12:52 to find out how many family members these 6 titles actually represent.  We are told by Jesus that there are exactly 5 different family members within God’s spiritual family instead of the 6 that we thought originally.  Again, this information just makes the riddle more complex to narrow the scope of possible solutions to help us solve it.  Let’s review the list of family titles given to us:

  1. Father against his son
  2. Mother against her daughter
  3. Mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law

There are exactly two males given to us in the list, so we must conclude that the other four female titles represent only 3 women, in order to resolve the clue that said there were only a total of 5 members.  Each family member is uniquely identifiable to show us their individual separation while concurrently demonstrating their distinctive common oneness at each specific level of their family relationships.  I’m not sure if you understood that last statement or not.  Let me try to briefly explain what I meant.  First let’s examine their individual titles that separate them; there were three sets of pairs given to us; a father and his son, a mother and her daughter and finally a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law.  Only the women’s titles are potentially overlapping where one woman can possess simultaneous titles.  The father can never be his son and vice versa.  A mother can never be her daughter and vice versa.  Using this same logic we can determine that the mother-in-law can never be her daughter-in-law and vice versa.  But, a mother can become a mother-in-law or a daughter could become a daughter-in-law simply by the association of a marriage.

Let me speak to another obvious but often missed part of logical problem solving.  If one object is stated to be against or in opposition to another object, they cannot be the same object.  Do you understand that statement?  For example, God says the son will against the father and therefore we understand the son is not the father.  This logic is repeated for each opposing pair.  The daughter is against her mother so the daughter is not the mother.  The daughter-in-law is against her mother-in-law so the daughter-in-law is not the mother-in-law.  This was just basic common sense using logical observation of the stated words given to us by God.  Using these types of logic I simply concluded that the daughter and the daughter-in-law were the only two that could be same woman.  They are never mentioned to be opposed to each other and since they both contain a form of the “daughter” title they can be more easily associated to be the same woman.  You see what I mean?  Of course the mother and the mother-in-law both have the same name mother in common and they were both someone’s daughters so many will try to ask can they not be the same woman?   That is a good question, why don’t you see if you can draw me a family diagram that has one father and one mother where the mother is both the mother and the mother-in-law and then all of the other titles are also present and the total number of people in the family is five.  If you can do that I would love to see it.  You see the only diagram that I came up like that was one like I gave you in an earlier lesson that duplicated Adam and Eve’s family with their son Seth and his wife.  They would have all of the titles give to us but only be four in one family and the daughter and the daughter-in-law would be in opposition to each other twice in duplication.  That just doesn’t make any sense to me.

Solving the riddle diagram  was a major part of discovery process from the previous lessons.  You see I tried to show you in the last lesson that a “daughter-in-law” title dictates a wedding has occurred.  It further stipulates by definition that someone’s son has married the bride and that the bride has now become the son’s parents’ new daughter-in-law.  In this spiritual family of God, who is the Son of God?  We of course know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and therefore He is the only one qualified to marry the woman called the new daughter-in-law.  If this is true, which it must logically be, only the daughter is qualified to become the daughter-in-law also called the son’s wife from the family of 5 titles that were given to us.  You see you never as a son would marry your mother or your mother-in-law so I ruled those two women out immediately.  This forces us to conclude that the unmarried daughter is also the daughter-in-law and this knowledge resolves the difference between the six titles and only 5 family members that the riddle presented to us.  Wow, I hope and pray that you understood all of my logical reasoning in solving this riddle up until this point, because it only gets more complicated from here forward.

Before I get to the new subject of commonalities, let’s get into a new perspective found within a family called structure.  Let’s stop and get some definitions for the word “structure”:

Structure

–noun

  1. mode of building, construction, or organization; arrangement of parts, elements, or constituents: a pyramidal structure.
  2. something built or constructed, as a building, bridge, or dam.
  3. complex system considered from the point of view of the whole rather than of any single part: the structure of modern science

All of these definitions are applicable to the family of God.  God’s family is a designed construction effort.  God’s family has organization and different parts that are specifically arranged to benefit the whole.  God’s family as we have seen is a very complex system and God presents it in a riddle that no man was able to figure out until now.  Within every normal and healthy family on the earth there is an organized structure of responsibility and authority.  A father is called the head of the house and he holds ultimate responsibility for the entire family.  The mother of the family comes next in authority and she helps raise the children with her husband.  The children in the family are always the lowest on the authority food chain, yet they are very important because of the love that their parents have for them.  From the Bible we also understand that children have ranking authority and responsibility.  The first born child is always the oldest and will ultimately take the lead within the family after the father is gone.  The next born is then the next in line if something should happen to the older sibling and etc. down the line of children to the youngest.  Since I am teaching about the structure of God’s spiritual family, keep this authority structure information in mind as we continue.  Practically everything that you read in the Bible about families will apply to God and His family in some way.

Within the family structure of the 5 individuals in the one family, we will discover the presence of several hierarchical sub-divisions that are present to establish order and organized structure.  If you know anything about an orchestra, you have a conductor who is the head or the leader of everyone.  You can also have different sections like a percussion section which contains a multiple tiered responsibility organization within itself.  You can have a brass section also with another multi-tiered responsibility sub-division.  There are other sub-divisions like wood-winds and strings.  Every sub-group is an organized hierarchically structured group designed to give order for the good of the whole.  All of these sub-groups are designed to work together for the good or the purpose of the whole with the conductor having ultimate responsibility to lead the way for the others.  In a perfect spiritual world this would be how God’s family would have operated also.  However, that is where God’s problem and solution begins to unfold and take place.  Since God’s enemies are an integrated part of his organized orchestra, God has a major problem with some instruments being out of step with the ultimate plan of God who is the supreme conductor.  If God’s organization was an orchestra, He could have fired Satan and his angels and replaced them with newly created ones and this would have been an acceptable solution.  However, since we are speaking of a spiritual family structure we must realize that this complicates things very significantly.

Everything that I have said so far is a general review with some new enhanced details being presented to you to help you understand the concepts found within a family structure.  These concepts here that I have given to you are actually very important to know.  God is a highly structured and organized spiritual being.  God does not create chaos.  Everything that God has created had a designed purpose until individuals like Satan decided to create a new separate orchestra from God’s.   Hopefully you understand the concept of design and purpose. For example, when you examine the human DNA, you cannot conclude this was accidental or came into being by chance.  I learned as a computer programmer that every complex system that exists in the world dictates a designer who created it.  The human DNA is so complex that it forces us to believe in a creator. Yet men still ignore it and think wrong. You see God has given us many clues within the things that He has created and His written word and we must learn from each.

So I have briefly covered family structure, organization, responsibility and individuality, but now I want to shift your focus to concentrate more on their commonalities.  So let’s examine the subject of commonalities within the family members given.  Since the daughter and the daughter-in-law are both the same woman we have one individual being called by two distinct titles or names.  Every daughter is not a daughter-in-law, but every daughter-in-law is a daughter.  These are interesting concepts that we will see in other parts of the Bible and this lesson.  If you have ever studied the Bible you can easily understand that Satan is called by many different names, titles, descriptions and symbols.  This is the concept of one individual being called by many identifiers and now I want to reverse that concept and teach you about one named individual consisting of many separately named personalities, entities or beings.  It is a very similar concept of that given to us by the reality of the Trinity of God.  There is one God who is referred or identified by 3 personalities, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  Still one God, but viewed by a multi-tiered methodology.  This concept is very prevalent in the world and in the Bible.  Let’s examine the definition of “commonality”.  According to the internet this word means “A shared feature or attribute between two or more individuals”.  This is an interesting concept but it also goes beyond that definition.  For example, a commonality can also be binding or non-binding.  In other words a friendship between two people is a non-binding relationship, but a marriage between a husband and a wife is a type of binding relationship.  Surely you understand what I am attempting to describe to you.  It goes again to the old saying that you can choose your friends but you cannot choose your relatives.  All of your relatives share a binding commonality that none of them can get out of.  As long as you and your siblings are alive you will have that brother or sister in your family.  Just because you move to another family or marry a husband or a wife to start a new family, you will still possess the designated titles of brothers and sisters with your old family members.  This is a simple truth, but one that you need to apply to what is being described to you today about the spiritual family of God.  Are you getting it?

Therefore, being in the family of God is the first unique qualifier of unified binding commonality.  Every family member has the one family of God in common with the one spiritual head of the house, God the Father.  Therefore, no family members came into the family from another family by marriage or from an external source of existence for instance.  This is actually an important revelation to consider.  When you think about God’s creation and the created spiritual beings like angels and humans, God is saying they were all an internal part of His personal family.  They did not self-originate nor did they come into existence without the Father’s direct contribution to procreate.  When God tells us in Micah 7:6 that a man’s enemies are those of His own house, He is revealing to us why He is doing what He is doing with having a son named Jesus.  It also explains why it is so complicated for us to understand.  If Satan was not in the family of God, God could have cast him into hell the moment any sin was found in Him.  But, since Satan is a foundational and integral part of the organized family structure of God’s internal spiritual household, God cannot throw Satan into hell without moving Himself there at the same time.  You will better understand that statement as I continue to describe to you who the women are in the family of God, so hang in there and let’s continue on.

The concept of multiple individuals being one is a foundational Bible truth scattered throughout the Bible and the world in various examples.  Since God is describing 5 members in one family this is my next point to show you the patterned effect of this reality in our world.  The United States is described to be One Nation under God and this reality involves millions of individual people who were either born there, moved there or lives there.  Within the nation of the United States there exists a tiered structure of authority.  We have a complex organized federal government followed by a system of State governments and finally the lower level county or city government structures.  A baseball or a soccer team is one group that is comprised of several layers of individual players and coaches but they are often referred to in the term of being a single named entity, like the Chicago Cubs or the Portland Timbers.  Each baseball team is organized with a head coach or team manager and then sub-divided levels of coaching responsibilities, like batting, fielding and pitching.  Even the players can be organized into different leadership responsibilities like being given a team captain’s level of authority.  The United States and a sports team are both representative entities of a highly organized group with structured levels of authority and responsibility.  Does this occur in the Bible?

Think with me about the nation of Israel.  They were described in the Bible to be one nation of people in covenant with God, but they were also sub-divided into 12 different tribes that came from the 12 sons of Jacob and this resulted in many, many individual people that were again one organized highly structured nation.  This nation had a king who ruled like David.  This nation had priests that ministered to God within the temple and these priests all came from the sons of Aaron which are a further sub-division within the structured nation.  There was a chief priest and even a second priest mentioned in the Bible.  So within the sub-division of priests there were was a ranking hierarchy.  What I am attempting to do is to show you organized patterns that resemble God’s family structure.  We can clearly see concepts where we must conclude that many individuals can be viewed as one named organized entity and that these people can be further divided or sub-divided and organized into many tiered levels of responsibility and authority.  Being born in the nation of Israel was a binding commonality that you could not get out of.  Once you were born a Jew you were always a Jew.  This was either a good or a bad thing depending upon your point of view and your knowledge of the Bible, but I cannot go there today.  Let’s review some other family commonalities that exist within the family of 5.

I guess I have taught this next concept in other Bible lessons, but for the sake of new readers I will repeat it for a clearer understanding of the subject of binding commonality.  When God created the first man, in Genesis 1, He said that He made them male and female and that He called their name “Adam”.  You can read that in the original Hebrew if you study it closely or you can also go and read it in Genesis 5:2.  So God is basically revealing that two can be named as one.  Then God shows us a more detailed creation account of the man and woman in Genesis 2.  In this chapter the woman is taken from the side of the man and God presents the woman to the man where God continues to reveal the law of marriage to us in Genesis 2:24:

Gen 2:24  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

This verse represents God’s established law of marriage.  This was not a new concept for God as we will soon learn, but this concept of marriage existed a long time before God created Adam.  Within the text God says the two individuals are separate while simultaneously being joined to become one.  Therefore we have the concurrent occurrence of unique separation while being joined and named as one united entity.  This is exactly the concept that I have been attempting to teach you today about a binding commonality.  However, this law introduces to us a completely new aspect to consider.  According to God’s law, the man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his new wife and the two of them will become one new family.  This is a new concept that has never happened before!  Uh oh?  This is also a major religious problem for how many people in the church think today.  God gives us this law for the first time in reference to the creation of man and his wife.  But, God never says that all of this is a new principle.  We can understand that Adam is forced to separate from his mother and father and is required by law to be joined to his wife to create a new separate family.  But, who were Adam’s mother and father?  You see this is another one of those hidden riddle types of mysteries found in the Bible where God tells you something without telling you everything.  What we see is the establishment of a new earthly family structure being organized apart from the existing family of God in heaven.  God as the creator has to be the Father of Adam by definition (Heb 12:9).  We can also understand this fact by the way that God breathed into the created man Adam, His own Spirit (Gen 2:7) after God had formed his body from the dust of the ground.  The body of Adam had no life until God had breathed into him.  We can also understand from this reality that this is a natural patterned foreshadowing of that which will reoccur in the spiritual realm when Jesus Christ came to the earth as the Son of God and the Last Adam (1 Cor 15:45).  I’m sorry this is so complicated, but I did not write it.  This is the Wisdom of the Most High God and it is so advanced while being concurrently simple that it makes me stand in amazement at the awesome plan of God.

From this information, we know that a husband and his wife are always two individuals that God says have been joined to become one.  Therefore, we know from the given titles found in Micah 7:6 that a “daughter-in-law” title informs us of the existence of a marriage as well as a unified husband and wife relationship with binding commonality.  I showed you in a previous lesson that the unmarried daughter must logically marry the unmarried son and they therefore are the only two that can legitimately become a new one by marriage.  But, we also understand that the Father, the mother as well as the mother-in-law in this diagram are already all married and they are also “one” with each other.  The titles, father, mother and mother-in-law all imply that they have been married.  So that is 3 different layers of binding commonality that I just mentioned.  First, the parents and the children are all one family.  The first level of binding commonality is the Father’s family unit.  The parents (father, mother and mother-in-law) are another unit of binding commonality by the law of marriage and finally the unmarried children become a new husband and wife unified family unit when they get married.  We can see that there is one Father with two wives.  We can know from the concepts given to us by the law of marriage that these three are one unit bound by the law.  We can further know that the son and the daughter when they get married, they will become a new one family by the same law of marriage where God informs us that they must leave their current family in order to create this new family.  This helps us to understand why Jesus revealed in Luke 12:52 that the 5 in one house will be divided 3 against 2 and 2 against 3.  All of this helps us to understand the explanation to the riddle being presented.  God is stating in a coded message that He has implemented a complex plan to cause a legal separation to occur while simultaneously a new union of binding everlasting commonality.  I call this dividing and uniting at the same time.  This is how God eliminates himself and us from evil while eternally joining Himself to those who are good.  I know this is strange and I know this is not normal, but it is in the Bible, so God has a purpose in doing it this way and it is certainly possible even in the natural realm so you cannot disqualify it because it is different.  While it is highly unique you must at least admit it is not inconceivable.  Hopefully as we continue through the lesson series you will better understand why this is happening.  I think I have gone way too long for this lesson.  I have been reviewing some previous information today while teaching you some new very  important information and we will use all of this knowledge to understand the identities of the women in the Family of God.  I will hopefully get to this subject in the next lesson, God willing.  Until next time God bless you!

Understanding the Hidden Spiritual Family of God! Part 4

(Ver 1.6)  This is now my second attempt to write and publish this article.  I had written and finished this article a long time ago, but I was waiting to publish it when my computer hard drive crashed last week and I lost many of my unpublished works that I had been writing.  Therefore, I am now in a recreate or recovery mode attempting to get back what I lost.  It is never a good thing when you lose computer files.   But, it is not an insurmountable obstacle, since I know it was God who gave me the information in the first place and I know He still knows what it all says.   Therefore, I’ll just trust Him to give it to me again, and I will retype it for you with a smile and I’ll be happy in my work for God.  Today’s lesson may not be the exact words that I typed before, but it will be close enough for you to see what He wanted to say.  One of the greatest frustrations with working with computers is when they do not work correctly or when they fail.  Since we live in a world that is deteriorating rapidly around us we just all need to become smarter in how we back up our work.  I learned this the hard way and I was reminded that just because a computer is not very old it does not mean that it cannot still fail and your work is lost.  Therefore, I have implemented a data backup plan that hopefully will fix this problem going forward.  But, enough about me and let’s move on to the Word of God which is why I’m here.  I have been doing a series of lessons on the “Hidden Spiritual Structure of God’s Family”.  This is now Part 4 in this series of extremely advanced Bible lessons and I know today’s lesson will contain more information that you have never heard of before.  If you have not read this series from the beginning, you really have no idea what I am talking about.   Therefore, I would strongly recommend that you go back and start your reading with “Part 1” to make sure you do not miss out on any important information that I have already covered.  I simply cannot guarantee that I will repeat everything that you need to know in every lesson.

In the first two lessons I taught about the direct family members in God’s spiritual family based upon patterns found in God’s created family of man.  I firmly believe that Adam was a pattern of Jesus who was to come and I also believe Adam’s family was a pattern of God’s family that already existed in heaven.  Since Adam had a natural wife that came out of his side, I believe that Jesus has a spiritual wife that came out of His side.  When the Roman soldier pierced the side of Jesus on the cross and blood and water flowed out, I believe this is a repeated pattern of what occurred when God took Eve from the side of Adam.  Certainly you can see the comparison that I am making and then you can choose to accept it or reject it.  But, hopefully you will see the significance of these two events given to us in the Bible as being something greater than just a coincidence.  I have also previously discussed that the theological doctrine of the Trinity of God directly identifies two males in the Family of God and these are God the Father and God the Son.  This foundational Bible doctrine of the Trinity of God further implies the existence of at least two females indirectly by logical association.  One female is the wife of the Father who is also the mother of the Son and the other female is the future wife of the Son of God.   You could go on and logically determine that the wife of the Son must also have a mother.  So we have at the minimum three unnamed and unidentified females that we will still need to try to ascertain.   People need to realize that when God created the natural world that the Bible says that He made these natural things to reflect and to reveal to us the things of the unseen spiritual world which I believe included His family.  We know this fact based upon Romans 1:20 and if you need to review this verse and see what God tells us, please do that.    So if God made them male and female in the beginning of human history, this must have been a reality that existed in the spiritual world by simple logical deduction.  We know that God is always called a male in the Bible so we are at the crossroads where we need to determine the existence of a spiritual female.   If she exists what is she, who is she and where did she come from?  The only way I can teach you this is to go into a lot of Bible verses that I do not have time to do today.  I will not be able to prove the spiritual existence of females to you in today’s lesson, but I will address this in a future lesson.  I know I sometimes say things that are hard to accept, but since you do not know everything that I know, you will either have to keep reading by faith or just stop here, go away and remain in your ignorance.

In the last lesson on this subject I revealed to you God’s hidden family prophesied to us from the Old Testament book of Micah.  Jesus took a seemingly isolated insignificant scripture from a very minor prophetic book of the Bible and revealed to us that this is one of the main reasons that He came to the earth in the flesh.  This statement was so profound that you do not even have a clue how important it is right now.   From this lesson I showed you scriptures in Matthew and Luke where Jesus reestablished the importance of this information without ever explaining it or telling you what He was talking about.  This is exactly why this information has never been revealed until now.  I believe that if God had not revealed it, it would still be unknown.   I hope that does not sound like I am trying to tell you that I’m anything important because He revealed it to me, because that is not what I am saying at all.  I am just a messenger who God chose and I did not ask for this revelation specifically, since I would have not known what to even ask for in the first place.  When I study the Bible, there are many times I do not know what I am studying until God shows it to me.   So it is always God’s glory for showing it to us, and never our ability that discovered it.  I learned this a long time ago and I believe that is why He gave it to me.

I think we should review the known facts for the spiritual family of God to make sure we understand what we know and what we do not know.  Let’s start by reviewing the family member titles given to us by God to see who they are called again and their relationships to each other.  If you would like to go back and reread these scriptures, you can go to Micah 7:6 to see the original prophecy or you can go to Matthew 10:34-36 or Luke 12:52-53 and see Jesus’ exact words on the subject.   Here are the family titles that were given to us:

  1. Son (the Man in Matthew)
  2. Father
  3. Daughter
  4. Mother
  5. Daughter-in-law
  6. Mother-in-law

We had 6 directly named family titles and these occur in almost any family on the earth.  However, Jesus reveals some other information that makes this family unlike almost any other family on the earth that I know of.   Reading from Luke 12:52-53 and Matthew 10:34-36 we came up with a short list of known facts and I will review this list for you so that you can refresh your mind on the complexity of this riddle:

  1. God is describing One Family.
  2. There are only 5 members in this 1 family.
  3. There are only 2 direct males mentioned by title (the son and the father).
  4. There are up to 4 direct females mentioned (daughter, mother, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law).
  5. This family will be divided 3 against 2 or 2 against 3.
  6. The Father will be divided against his son.
  7. The mother against her daughter.
  8. The mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law.
  9. A marriage is implied by the titles of “daughter-in-law” and “mother-in-law”.
  10. A man’s enemies are those of his own family.

These facts make this family so different, that it can only fit God’s family by design.  Hopefully you will better understand that statement as we continue.  I posted this puzzle on the internet over a month ago and still no one was able to come forward to solve it.  I suggested that you go through and read my other postings so that you could find some more clues, because I have all of the necessary information given and even a diagram of this family on my website and no one still could come up with the solution.  I can only assume that no one really extended any effort to solve the puzzle, so I am in a personal struggle to determine if I should do all of your Bible study for you and give you the answer or to just leave you hanging in the dark.  There are many times when I put lessons on the internet that I have to ask myself, am I casting my pearls before the swine that Jesus told us not to do (Mat 7:6)?  If a person does not see the same value of the Word of God that I do is that casting my pearl of great value to be trampled on?  To give away the Word of God for free is a perplexing contradiction.  Jesus seems to imply that some will value His Words and others will just trample upon them.  What I am teaching you today has opened up the Bible for me more than any other revelation of the Word of God that I have ever heard or learned about from anyone.  Therefore, I clearly understand the value of this knowledge, whether you do or not.  You need to decide what is valuable to you, if the word of God is not valuable, please stop reading my lessons and go away.  I know I said that already, but I am being very serious and I will probably say it again before I’m done today.  If you are an individual who sees value in what I am teaching you, then please be brave enough to tell me so that I do not decide to stop teaching because of everyone’s silence.

Since no one has solved God’s riddle, I will teach you how to solve it using Bible examples.  Today I want to start by exploring the first created family members and see what God describes to us about them in the Bible to help us to understand God’s spiritual family.  We will look at some of the children of Adam (but not all of them) to shorten this Bible example being described to us.  We know from the Bible that from the one created man Adam came every other human on the planet.  We know this based upon 1 Corinthians 15:22 since Adam’s sin was passed to every human.  Likewise we know that from the one woman Eve came every other human on the planet.  Eve is called the “mother” of all living in Genesis 3:20.  We do not technically know how many children Adam and Eve had in their 900+ years of life on the earth.  But, I personally believe that Adam and Eve had many children and I base this on a verse in Genesis where God says:

Gen 5:4  And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

If Adam lived over 900 years on the earth, he had to have had a lot of children.  The number of children could possibly be in the range of several hundred children.  Everyone likes to ask the question “where did Cain get his wife” and God tells you indirectly right here in this verse in Genesis that Cain and Seth married their sisters.   Since that was all of the women that existed on the earth in those days this was a permissible occurrence.  Later I will show you that this was a common thing in the early days of human civilization, where men would marry their sisters.   But, for now take note that God says Adam had many daughters and we will leave it at that.  I will now give you a limited family tree diagram of Seth one son of Adam.   We know from Genesis 5:7 and Luke 3:38 that the son Seth has another son named “Enosh”.  Therefore we must conclude that Seth married one of his sisters to have this son in the family lineage of Jesus.  Now look at this family diagram and see what it reveals to us:

I am only focused in on the one son of Adam named Seth and his wife and both of these children had to come from Adam and Eve.  So we have one mother, one daughter, one father and one son.  That makes 4 in one family doesn’t it?  If the son Seth marries a daughter of Eve (his sister), then we have the new addition of the mother-in-law title to the mother simply by the definition of marriage even though she is still the new wife’s mother simultaneously.  Just take note that one single woman can carry multiple family titles by definition and circumstances.  For example, any daughter can become a wife, a daughter-in-law, a mother and a mother-in-law and she can possess all of these family titles simultaneously.   In my picture of Adam’s family the daughter of Eve would also become Eve’s daughter-in-law when she married Seth her brother.  Again we see that one woman can possess two family titles and this is a major clue to resolving the puzzling fact that God’s riddle had 6 named titles but then He said there were only 5 actual individuals.  Therefore it is essential to conclude that one woman in the family of 5 must have two of the titles given to us in order to resolve the difference correctly.  Do you understand this logic?  Since the females are the only in-law references given to us in Micah, Matthew and Luke I have ignored the male role titles.  Hopefully you can see in Adam’s family diagram that we have all six titles that were given to us in the prophecy, but yet we only have four family members and this does not match the 5 in one family that God has revealed to us in Luke 12:52-53.  So we have a family tree that is close, but it is not accurate enough to solve the mystery.  So we still have a monumentally perplexing puzzle to solve.  Do you understand what I have said so far?  I pray that you do.  So let’s shift gears to a different family tree diagram of a modern day family and see how that compares to the information given to us by Jesus.  This week in the news Prince William of England married a commoner name Kate and this next family diagram could very well apply to this marriage.

The son in this diagram would be Prince William, the daughter would be the woman Kate and then the parents of each would also apply.  As you can easily tell, using this diagram it has added too many family members to satisfy the riddle requirements.  It further complicates the matter by introducing an additional second family and that does not fit with the given description that  Jesus gave to us either.  Now instead of the 4 family members of Adam and Eve’s family we now have 6 members like in my family tree.  This diagram has two fathers, one son, two mothers and one daughter.  We also have a daughter-in-law, a mother-in-law in this diagram and all of this information is only partially accurate to the complex riddle information.   What we have done is gone from one too few family members, to one too many family members.  We have also increased the number of families from one to two, so we have actually moved further away from solving the riddle with this diagram.   However, look again at the diagram, study it and see why we have too many family members and then try to determine which one family member we can remove to make a single family of five with the same necessary six resulting family titles?  To me it is very logical to see that there are “too many” fathers in this diagram.  Clearly from reading the original prophecy we know that there is only one father mentioned and one son so we must take away one father and this will resolve every problem to solve this puzzle.  Since we are talking about God’s spiritual family and there is only one God the Father in the trinity, this tells me that there are not two Fathers in God’s family tree diagram.  These are just some of the factors that make a riddle a riddle.  If you could solve the riddle without giving it any serious thought then it would not be a riddle.  Looking again at this diagram of the 2 two families with 6 total family members, how do we remove one father and still leave two mothers that results in one family?  Wow, I think I just gave you a very major clue.  If you only have one father, he is always the head of one household and everyone that comes from him is still in the same family regardless of who the mother of the child is or how many wives he has.  You can see this logic found in the O.T. Bible in many places.  David had more than one wife, Solomon had way too many wives, and even Jacob had 4 wives that birthed the 12 tribes of Israel.  So we have just made some huge strides to solving the puzzle.  Are you getting it?  According to the Bible, a man is the head of a family and no matter how many wives he has had, they are still all in one family.  Please do not think that I teaching polygamy.   Wow, this is really getting tough isn’t it?  God as you will soon learn chooses to do something that was permissible in the Old Covenant but that is not permissible in the New Covenant in order to accomplish the ultimate hidden plan of God.  You see before the human race existed, I believe that God had a monogamous relationship.  We will learn in these lessons that God had more than one wife for an interim period of time.  Remember what a covenant is?  A covenant is a marriage to God according to the Bible.   How many covenants are there mentioned in the Bible?  You probably do not know that answer to that question and I do not have the time to tell you about them today.  However, we will find out some more information about this very soon as we continue.

I believe that after the plan of God is complete that He will end up with another monogamous relationship in the end with only one covenant being in effect.  I believe that this covenant is the one that was implemented by His Son Jesus and I pray that you can see it.  However, in the in between time in order to implement this New Covenant plan, God chose to do something that He would not have normally chosen to do.   We know that God is opposed to polygamy by the nature of creation.  Jesus taught us that in the beginning did you not read that he made them male and female (Mat 19:4)?  In other words God said that He did not make them male and females (multiple wives) or male and male or female and female.   Do you see how smart God is, with His riddle and His words?

I guess it is time to reveal the family of God to you.  There is only one family diagram that I could come up with that solved this riddle exactly and amazingly enough God uses this pattern as His family diagram.  This diagram will probably shock most of you.  You see when you look at this diagram it strongly resembles a known Satanic symbol that causes you to retract from believing it.  I purposely believe that Satan stole God’s family symbol and tried to pervert it intentionally to discredit it so that no one would accept it as being something from God.   By Satan taking a Bible pattern and making it his own, it will cause you to more easily reject the truth and this is a common way that he uses to deceive people.  Take a look very closely at this diagramed family tree and then I will discuss the facts of how only this diagram will solve the riddle completely.

Here we have a family of five and it is totally different than any family that I know of on the earth today.  However, that does not mean it is not possible.  I believe my Bible says with God all things are possible (Mat 19:26).  What I want you to do today is to change your perspective and to think about this diagram from a spiritual point of view.  Try to see it from God’s point of view.  Who are the two males in this family?  We know from the Bible that God is a Spirit (John 4:24).  We also know that God is called our Father many times in the Bible as well as the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 1:7, Rom 15:6, 1 Cor 8:6, 2 Cor 1:2).  We further know from scripture that God existed in the spiritual realm eternally before there was a natural realm ever created.  Now think, where was the Son of God conceived and born?  Clearly Jesus Christ was born a natural man in the physically created world.  So we can clearly understand that we have a natural Son that came from the spiritual realm of heaven to be born in the physical world as a man.  Therefore, we have two direct realms of reality being described to us in one diagram.  In other words this diagram originates in the spiritual realm, but it then crosses over into the natural realm simultaneously.  This is why we have two women who are married to God the Father, one is a natural woman and the other is a spiritual woman and if you have ever read my other Bible lessons you already know their names.  If you do not understand that a covenant is a marriage, then you should go and read my lesson on “Understanding Bible Covenants”.  God the Father was in covenant with two women in the Bible and I will explain this more clearly in the next Bible lesson.   So before I continue, I want to confirm this family diagram using an Old Testament family that God gives us as a natural type of His family.  God repeats patterns in the Bible to reveal hidden information to us.  However finding these patterns can be very difficult unless the Spirit of God points them out.  This hidden pattern is found in the family tree of Abraham and this should not surprise you at all since Abraham is a central figure of the Bible.  However the reality of connecting this family pattern to the matching God family pattern will take many by surprise since it was a well concealed secret.

You will look at my diagram and probably scratch your head and wonder how I got this information.  I will have to tell you that it was not me that got it at all; it was the Spirit of God revealing it to me that caused me to see it.  You see I was listening to the Bible on CD one day over 10 years ago and while I was listening to the book of Genesis chapter 20 all of sudden God said, “Did you hear that?”  I had to stop and back it up and then listen to it again and then God said that was an example of the five in one family.  Sometimes I think I shock people when I say that God speaks to me, but yet if you think that God doesn’t speak to you it is because you are not listening and for no other reason.  After I read the verse in the Bible, I saw it immediately and here is the exact verse that God spoke to me about, see if you can see it also:

Gen 20:12  And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.

Did you see it?  Did you notice that Abraham married his sister?  I told you that this was a common early Old Testament occurrence in the recorded events of human history and this verse proves it.  You see Abraham was born nearly 2000 years after Adam and this proves to us that men still married their sisters even then.  However, it changes things slightly when you see that his wife was only his half-sister.  Sarai had the same father as Abram but not the same mother.  Guess how many family member that comes up to be?  If you guessed that there were exactly 5 in one family you would be exactly right.  If you also saw that they were 2 males and 3 females you would also be exactly right.  If you go on and think with me  logically you will see that every family member title fits exactly the titles given to us in Micah 7:6.  It is only because Abraham’s father Tera had two wives that make it possible for there to be 5 in one family.  We have a precise match to the spiritual family of God using an Old Testament type and shadow that has been written about for thousands of years before Jesus came to the earth to tell us about it.  I believe that when you understand that God knew the end from the beginning that it made it easy for God to hide important information in the book of Genesis that we would need to know about before Jesus came back to the earth almost 4000 years later.  It is an awesome example of the extreme intelligence of God at work.  If you do not yet understand the complexity of God and the Bible after studying this Bible series, you might just be reading the wrong Bible teacher.

DIVISION IN ABRAHAM’S FAMILY

In conclusion today I want to show you how this family tree diagram causes you to understand the plan of God in action from beginning to the end.  Hopefully you will recall that Jesus taught us that there would be five in one family divided 3 against 2 and 2 against 3 (Luke 12:52).  This stated division of 3 against 2 is actually found to be present in the Old Testament shadow of Abraham’s family tree given to us by God in Genesis 20.  The exact same pattern of mentioned division occurs in the family of Abraham that was stated in the prophecy of Micah 7:6.  You’ll see what I mean as we continue to explore this subject in grater detail.   Why are these specific numbers important for God to mention?  Why is it exactly 3 members divided against exactly 2 other family members?  What exactly is a division?  A division by definition is the separation of one person, place or thing from another person place or thing.  A division is a departure from something, or even an isolation from a given object/noun.   Why would it be necessary for God to divide His existing spiritual family?  God actually answers this last question in the Micah 7:6 prophecy and you should review this fact so that you can understand what the plan of God is doing using this simple concept of division.  Remember the prophecy said “a man’s enemies are those of his own household”.   If God’s own spiritual enemies were close family members who could God be talking about?  From the diagram we can see that the enemies of God could possibly be found to be present as one of His wives or one of His children or all of the above.  That makes things much more complex for God to resolve in this riddle.  It goes back again to the old adage that you can choose your friends but you cannot choose your relatives.  It means if God’s enemies were a part of His internal spiritual family, how does He choose to get His enemies out of His house legally, morally and justly?  You really need to give that question some very serious thought before attempting to answer it.  I believe that the answer to that question boils down to, that God chose to start a brand new family apart from his current existing family and that is the only solution that is legal while being morally sound preserving the Holy character and nature of a loving God.  God is so much smarter than you or I, and He always does things in a legal justified way that does not reflect upon Him negatively.    Division can be a positive or a negative depending on the reason for the division being implemented.  A negative division would occur if you committed a crime and were convicted of that crime and sent to prison, you have now been divided from society by your personal bad choices.   A positive division occurs when you can see how our roads have been built; we have divided highways where one side cannot invade the space of the other side’s traffic to cause accidents or deaths.   These are two different types of divisions.  They both are in effect implemented to prevent something negative from happening.

But, what is a division in the terms of a family unit?  There are actually several different types of legal family divisions that can occur and I will discuss some of these briefly to help you understand how which legal pattern of division fits for the prophecy in Micah 7:6.  One possible family division occurs when a significant loved one dies.  Whenever a family member dies, that family member is no longer a part of the family living in the same house.  Thus natural death is a division between family members.   Of course they do not cease to exist; they just do not exist in the natural realm, but death is still a clear dividing line.  We learn this concept from the book of Ruth when Ruth says to Naomi “I will be with you until death separates me from thee” (Ruth 1:17).   You need to understand that this is one of the main reasons why Jesus was born a natural man on the earth, so that He could die a natural death.  The Spirit of God could not die in heaven so He became a man.   Once you understand that death is a separating force for covenants, you begin to understand why one of the reasons that Jesus had to experience physical death.   Consider death as a potential dividing force in this family of 5.  Which two would need to die or which three would need die in order to leave the others alive and divide them 3 against 2 or 2 against 3?  Well that could apply but this is not what is mentioned as the dividing line in the typology of Abraham.  Therefore, I will think that this type of division does not apply to Micah 7:6.

Another possible family division would be a type of divorce where one parent separates from another and one gets custody of the children and the other one does not.   In this case we could observe one mother taking custody of her child and departing the family and that would match 2 being divided against 3.  That is actually an interesting concept that we will see in other coming Bible patterns but that is not what is happening in the story of Abraham.  There is no divorce mentioned in the lesson from Genesis concerning Abraham, his mother or his father or Sarah and her mother and father.  Therefore we have again a close possible solution but no direct match from scripture typology.

These two types of family divisions are close but not a sufficient match for what is being communicated in this riddle from Micah 7:6.  You see based upon the fact that the daughter is called a daughter-in-law we have an established marriage of the son to the daughter.  We therefore, should know from scriptures that a marriage is also a type of family division even if you have never thought of it this way.  Marriage is a clear separating force in the eyes of God and that is exactly how He views it and planned it to occur.  Perhaps I will do a future series on the subject of division to explain these concepts more in-depth to you, but for now let’s move on.   If you look at the diagram that I have given you of the family of 5, this family is a perfect representation for this reality of 3 divided against 2.  Let me try to explain that statement by going back to Genesis again and showing you what God says to us about the covenant of marriage.  God tells us something in Genesis 2:24 that is very relevant to this situation and here is where I am going to connect some more dots for you to see something radically new and different from the Bible:

Gen 2:24  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

You can clearly see that when a son takes a wife, there is a definite family division that is stated.  To “leave” one’s old family is a dividing line occurrence that begins a new family.  God says the son will leave his father and his mother and he will now be joined in covenant with his wife.  Anytime a son leaves his mother and father to become married, a family division has occurred.  This is a separation of being in the father’s family that results in the establishment of a new son’s family.  So when Jesus, the Son of God comes to the earth to establish a new covenant in His blood, He has just left His Father’s house in heaven and has separated Himself from ALL of His Father’s covenants by definition revealed to us by God’s created patterns and His very specific Words of Law.  Both the son and the daughter bride must leave their respective parents to become joined in covenant to form a new family household that is both independent and completely separate from the existing Father’s family household.  The father is not the one that is marrying the bride, the son is the groom to the bride so the father has no covenant relationship with this new woman.   If you do not understand how this works, I’m sorry for you, I do not know how to explain it more clearly.  You see I learned this concept because I lived it.  When I married my wife, I moved out of my parents house and got my own house.  My wife and I created a brand new family unit that never existed before and this family was now separate from both of our parents.  There is one fact that is still relevant for my new family house and this is my house had the same name as my father’s house.  Since I took my father’s name I was a builder of the family name keeping it going to the next generation and that is very important to apply to what Jesus is doing also.   When my wife and I moved out, our parents were no longer responsible for us to provide for us or to give us anything.   This is simply how life works, we still recognized where we came from, but we now we do not live with that old family since we have a new one with our own children.  Someday our children will grow up and get married and they will then become a new separate family and the endless cycle will continue until God’s timetable ends it.

So we have the son and his wife who are now two and using the diagram of the family of 5 they must leave their 3 parents that have been excluded from their new household.   We have two children who have become One New Family and we have an old One Family that was five members that now have become three by themselves.  I’m really not sure if you understood the simple math behind what I just said, but it was very deep and I know it went over many people’s head.  My Blog is called “Advanced Bible Studies” and this is why.  It is written for spiritually mature Christians who want to think.  I want you to see from my 5 in one family diagram that there are two children that leave 3 parents to be married and this is a division of 3 against 2.  This was the plan of God in a new revealed reality.   God has dissolved two covenants for the creation of one new covenant that is far better.  You probably still have a lot of questions and you are probably still lost to who these three women are, but I will explain them more in the next lesson and it will become much clearer.  If you are impatient and want to see who they are faster, just go and read my other Bible lessons and it will become much clearer more quickly.

Solving the Riddle of the Family Members in the Unseen Spiritual Family of God! A Godly Riddle that Will Challenge You! Part 3

(Ver 1.5)  Today is Part 3 of a series of lessons on Understanding the Structure of the Hidden Spiritual Family of God.  Today I will continue the subject, but speak more directly to show you verses that describe some very specific family members in a complex spiritual riddle form.  I will be discussing a revelation that God taught me over 10 years ago.   This is an extremely advanced Bible topic and it is certainly one that you know very little about, simply because it has never been taught before.  Perhaps you did not even know that God had a spiritual family and if you did not know this you should go back and start reading the first two lessons that I taught on this subject called “Understanding God’s Spiritual Family Structure”.  I have also updated the first two lessons so even if you did read them before they contain new information that you should familiarize yourself with intimately before continuing.  I get more people searching on my site for information about God’s spiritual family structure and design than any other search topic.   I believe that people are hungry to learn about the hidden spiritual things of God and the only way to learn about this is to read God’s Word with an open mind and have a heart that craves to know the truth.  I also find that because people search for this topic so much that it is a confirmation from God that people desire to learn about Him and that is why I teach a lot of things on this subject.   In the previous lessons I taught that a natural family found on the earth consists of a husband and a wife with children and I revealed that this was a natural pattern from God’s creation that exposes God’s spiritual family.  We also know from other Bible lessons that I have done (Understanding the Trinity of God) that the one true God is a Triune Spiritual Being called God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.   If you do not believe in the Trinity of God then you have already been deceived by the spirit of Anti-Christ who also does not want to believe that God had a Son:

1Jn 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

This is a controversial verse that is hotly debated by many deceived Christians.  Satan would like to delete this verse from the Bible and has tried to remove it from several manuscripts.  Therefore, it has been easily dismissible by people who are easily swayed.   However, I believe this verse because this information is confirmed in many other places in the Bible so it is not a solitary reference.  When the Antichrist shows up here on the earth Satan will use him to deny the existence of the Trinity and he will certainly say that God had no Son to everyone that he can persuade and he will claim to be God personally.  Have you ever considered why it is so important to Satan that the Son of God did not come to the earth and does not exist in the Bible?  Religions like Judaism and Islam teach that God had no Son.   You can clearly see a pattern being formed that it is important for Satan to get people to believe that the Son of God is an imaginary figure like Apollo.   Jesus confronted the Jewish leaders on this very subject in the book of Luke.  Perhaps you remember this question that Jesus asked them?  He asked them “Whose son is the Christ/Messiah?”  Jesus said this because they believed that the Messiah was the prophesied son of David.  Then Jesus asked them “How be it then that David wrote about Messiah in the Psalm and called him Lord”?   That was my paraphrase of Luke 20:42.   Wow, that was a loaded question for these men to answer?  After this experience with Jesus many of them never asked him anymore questions.  Jesus really has great questions if you listen to them.

As you continue to read these lessons you should begin to understand why this is so vital to Satan that God did not send His Son into the world.  You see, God accomplished several things by having a Son and one of them was the establishment of a new Spiritual Family through a Son who had never been in covenant with anyone else before.   There are also many spiritual truths that we can learn from the existence of the Trinity concerning God’s family structure.  For example, from the list of trinity members we have two direct male family members named and two implied indirect female family members not named.  Of course there is God the Father who is called the procreator of a child who is called the Son of God and then there is also God the Son who is the originator of the New Covenant.  It also means that since there is a Father and a Son, there has to be wife and a mother to the Son.  This is based upon very self-evident patterns found within creation.  A male and a female are always required to create a new life of the same kind.  If this is true in the natural realm, it has to be true about the spiritual realm and this will become clearer as we continue through these lessons.   We understand that Mary the Virgin is the physical mother of Jesus.  But, who is the spiritual mother of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  Uh oh?  Who is the wife of God?  Finally in the first two lessons I taught you scripturally that a Son by the Hebrew definition of the word is called the “Builder of the Family Name”.   You always have a Son to keep your family name from disappearing off of the face of the planet.  This is also God’s design and plan for His spiritual family.  You might recall that I said Jesus Christ was a Son over His own house (family) (Heb 3:6).  I also showed you where Jesus said “His Father’s house was where He came from” and this implies the Son’s house is a new separate dwelling place.  These statements imply a new house that has never existed before with a new wife.  Uh Oh again?  Who is this implied new spiritual wife?  If Jesus has married a new spiritual wife; who are the spiritual parents of this new wife?  Who are all of these implied spiritual family members?  There are two or three implied spiritual women in the family of God by observing just the names of the Trinity of God titles.  I am about to explore this extremely new and potentially controversial subject in an attempt to solve these mysteries.   If you have already closed your mind to these spiritual things that I have stated in the introduction, then you will be wasting your time to continue reading the rest of these lessons.

God has written the Bible in a way that has vast amounts of hidden spiritual information and I call this “Hiding the Truth in Plain Sight”.  God has written plain text words and stories about real people, places and things that all have significance and meanings on the surface, but these same words also carry some hidden spiritual information that is greater than what we thought.   If you have never read that series I would strongly suggest that you go and do so to learn some of the techniques that God uses to hide information in the Bible and this will help you to understand the complexity of what I am about to teach you today.  So evaluate your spiritual maturity and make the determination if you are ready to learn some new things from the Spirit of God.

What is a family (spiritual or natural)?  What makes up a normal family unit or a household?  We know from the Bible that God created the first natural family on the earth in Genesis chapters 1 through 4.  I personally believe that this naturally created family in Genesis was a patterned model of the design of God’s existing spiritual family in heaven and also the future configuration for His new spiritual family that was to come through His Son Jesus Christ who is called the bridegroom of the church.  If you have not understood how the Church is the Bride, then you should go read my series called “The Bride of Christ Revealed”.

DISCOVERING THE RIDDLE OF GOD’S FAMILY

What I am going to do today is to show you some seldom taught scriptures in the Bible that reveal the family of God in a spiritually encoded hidden riddle format.  These scriptures that I am about to give you represent a monumental spiritual riddle and a perplexing puzzle that is very complex.   So if you are a puzzle solver you might enjoy this Bible lesson today.   What is a riddle?  According to the dictionary a riddle is a question or a statement that requires thought to answer or understand.  This is exactly the nature of God and His Word if you did not know it.  You can clearly see when you read the Bible that God has hidden spiritual information in the Bible, or at least I can.  But there is good news about this hidden information in the book of Matthew, Jesus made this promise to us:

Mat 10:26  Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Jesus claims that everything that was hidden in the Word of God will be made known and I personally believe that this will be accomplished before He returns.  This belief contradicts with the popular doctrine of preeminence.   Preeminence is a belief that there is nothing left to be fulfilled prophetically in order for the Lord Jesus to return.  I strongly disagree with that belief.  I can see statements like this in the Bible that indicate there are many things left to be fulfilled.   Some try to explain this away by stating we will know the whole truth when we all get to heaven, but that does me no good in the here and now.   I am a firm believer that God will reveal the truth of His word to us all before Jesus returns and if that is true we still have a lot to learn.    You may disagree with that statement, but hopefully as you continue to read you will begin to see things differently.  Today’s lesson is the continuation of God revealing His hidden spiritual family.  Here are the foundational scriptures to today’s spiritual riddle:

Mat 10:34  “Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

Mat 10:35  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Mat 10:36  And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

Jesus in the course of teaching His disciples about many spiritual subjects pulls out a hidden obscure prophecy verse from the writings of a very minor prophet of God in the Old Testament and He makes a statement that is totally off the charts of our current levels of spiritual understanding.   You should be able to see that in this revelation Jesus is describing to us that this is one of the main reasons that God has come to the earth in the flesh.  This verse is clearly not understood, because God has never revealed it to anyone before now.  I looked it up in every commentary that I could find and on the internet and no one had a clue what any of it meant.  Even Matthew Henry who always had something to say about every verse had some very weak comments on these verses that were clearly based upon his ignorance of the subjects being discussed.  So I started studying it in more depth and God begin to unfold it to me so that I could understand it and I was truly amazed at the hidden meanings.  I will therefore, attempt to teach this new information to you so that you can also see that Jesus is revealing the spiritual members in the family of God.

The first point that I need to make is to teach you a very interesting technique of how God sometimes conceals the truth in plain sight.  Here in these verses of Matthew 10:35-36, God is describing to us a seemingly random anonymous man and his family.  Nowhere in any of these verses or the context of these verses does God directly reveal to you who this family is or who each family member represents or even if they are actually fictional or real unnamed individuals.  Even if you go back and read the original prophecy you will not find a clue to who God is speaking about.  That makes it almost impossible for you to think that God is speaking about Himself or His family.   However, I will tell you that this is a repeated pattern that Jesus used in the Gospels when speaking about many of the secret things of God.  Jesus would speak to us in parables using symbolism about the Kingdom of Heaven and say “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed a grain of mustard seed in a field” (Mat 13:31).  Who is this random anonymous unnamed man who sowed this seed in his field and how does this information relate to God’s Kingdom?  This man is certainly a hidden symbol of God.  Then in Matthew 22:2 Jesus says “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king which made a marriage for his son”.  Who is this unnamed certain King and who is the son to be married in this parable?  We clearly have two unnamed males, an anonymous king and his son being described as the rulers of a kingdom.  You see these are examples of God’s family in hidden symbolic anonymous terms.  Here in this verse we are given God the Father to be the certain King and you should be able to see Jesus Christ as His Son.  We also should be able to conclude that there are at least two implied women who are also not named.  These two women are an implied mother of the son and an unnamed wife of the son.   We could also logically conclude that the son’s wife has a mother also that is not named directly and now we are arriving at a closer match to the family being described in Matthew 10:35.    I will tell you very clearly up front that God is talking about His family here in Matthew 10:35 and He is describing every spiritual member of His spiritual family household using symbolic natural family titles with amazing relationship accuracy and clarity.  Jesus who was God in the flesh is describing a major reason for Him being born here on the earth, so I have concluded that this family being described must be His family diagram given to us in complex riddle form.  Hopefully as we go through this study you will better understand this family at the end of the study, than you do right now at the beginning of the lesson.  So hang in there and keep reading.

God reveals so many things in these verses found in Matthew 10:34-36 that it is really awesome and almost overwhelming.  For example, my next point that I want to make is from Mathew 10:36 where God says “a man’s enemies are those of his own personal household or family”.  Did you know that God has enemies?  There are actually many confused Christians who do not know this.  You can read about this enemy of God in several places, but I would suggest you go read about him in another parable that Jesus taught us in Matthew 13:39.  Knowing that God has an enemy we should be able to understand that God is describing His spiritual enemy as being an internal family member of His household.  Do you get the significance of that statement?  God is basically making a play on the old saying that declares “You can choose your friends, but you can never choose your relatives”.  You probably do not understand this fully yet, but you will.  God is revealing to us that His enemy Satan is a member of His inner spiritual family.  This is one of the first revelations that you need to understand about who Satan was and is.  Satan was a key spiritual member of the family of God before the creation of man.  Satan pre-existed man and was called “Lucifer” the son of the Morning in Isaiah 14:12.  Son of the Morning is another symbolic reference containing much hidden spiritual informatoin.  The Hebrew word translated as “morning” means “early light”.  Since God is called Light in 1 John 1:5, you should be able to easily conclude that morning is just a reference to God a long time ago in the past.  Therefore, Lucifer is being called a son of God.  Not the Son of God, just a little son.  Technically Satan is actually more than that as you will learn later.  Did you know all of these facts already?

These lessons are really going to get very, very deep in this study, so please pay very close attention to every point being made.  I already revealed to you that God was speaking about His own family in these verses.  In other words Jesus is not speaking about an unknown random male’s family; He is talking about His personal family in an indirect writing or speaking style.  These verses in Matthew 10:34-36 are not allegorical, they are not an analogy, they are not symbolic and they are not a parable; they should be taken very literally in all of their interpretation.   You see Jesus never said the Kingdom of Heaven is like a family with family members like these, God is instead saying this is my family.  The only real tricky part of the verses is that God is referring to Himself in human terms as being a father who is the head of a family.  However this father is definitely not an earthly father, He is the head of the spiritual Household of God in heaven.  This is at the least one of the key factors of how God has concealed this information in these verses in Matthew from our view or spiritual understanding for thousands of years.  We have looked at them and thought only of natural things and we missed the fact that God is speaking of real spiritual things in these verses.  In order to see what Jesus is speaking of you must shift your focus from God speaking about a human man, to God is speaking of Himself in the terms of being a human man with a family.  Over 200 times in the N.T. God is called by the title “Father”.  Therefore,the father in this family is definitely the Father God and the other titles are the members within the Spiritual Family of God!  Over 200 times in the N.T. Jesus Christ is called by the title “Son”.  God is using familiar human created descriptive terms to reveal Himself and His family so that we can understand it.  Most of us understand the concepts of fathers and mothers, children and families, don’t we?   I mean think about this, God created this institution called family for a specific reason.  These family units are not here by chance or accident; they all have a designed purpose in the plan of God.  That is also why Satan is trying his best to redefine a family in the “modern” world as being between two men or two women.  You should really pay attention to what Satan does and then figure out why he is doing it and this will help you tremendously to understand the Bible.  Let’s go back and review verse 35 again:

Mat 10:35  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

What you should see in verse 35 is the fact that this verse contains a list of very typical family members found almost anywhere in the world.  So there is nothing unique or special about the list on the surface and this is also why many people assume it to be any regular natural family.  However on closer inspection and analysis of this family, this list is more unique than it appears on the surface and it subtly describes to us a set of family members that actually does not fit very many families found here on the earth anywhere.   This is the beginning of the puzzle.  After I studied this list, I could not think of any families on the earth that this information fits exactly.  Can you think of any?  You see you can go to almost anybody’s family reunion and find people with these titles present.  First, there is a very common relationship of a man and his father and every son on the earth has a father.  Next there is another common relationship of a daughter and her mother mentioned and every daughter on the earth has a mother.  Finally it starts to get more complex and it says there is a daughter-in-law and her mother-in-law and you can find these relationships in most every common family on the earth.  What we have is a list of six potential named individuals that need a resolution or identities assigned to them.  An identity is always a name and that is what we are ultimately after.  We are looking for the names of the family members in God’s family.  Here is the list of the 6 titles from Matthew 10:35:

  1. Man
  2. Father
  3. Daughter
  4. Mother
  5. Daughter-in-law
  6. Mother-in-law

If you analyze this list it is very tricky how God uses His words.  Always pay very close attention to every word spoken by God and look up the definitions and this will help you to understand what is being said.  For example the son is called a man, but then his father is not called a man.  You see the Bible says very clearly that God is not a man (Num 23:19), so we know that God the Father is a Spirit.  However the Bible repeatedly calls God by the male “Father” title (James 3:9, 1 Peter 1:2-3, 2 Peter 1:17, 1 Jn 3:1, 2 Jn 1:3, 2 Jn 1:9 to name a few) and this implies a male.  The complexity of God comes in when He becomes a man in His son and the Son of God is Jesus.  Jesus is called both the “Son of Man” and the “Son of God” repeatedly in the Bible, and they are easy to find so I will not give you a list of them here.   Looking at Matthew 10:35 again, since there are only two males mentioned, this information can still fit the patterns that we found in the Trinity, where there was God the Father and His Son, but we still have all of these unknown women being described to us?  I think that I told you already that this verse in Matthew 10:35 is a direct quotation of a verse from a minor prophet, but I do not think I told you that it was the prophet Micah.  I think this would be a good time to go back to the book of Micah and see what God says there.  If you go to chapter 7 of Micah and verse 6 you will see what Jesus was quoting from and you can read the original information that was given to the prophet:

Mic 7:6  For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

So basically we have the exact same information from Matthew using a few different descriptive terms and titles.  The man in Matthew, in this verse is clearly called a son here in Micah.  The father is still the father and the others are also still called by the same titles.  So we now have two major witnesses to this fact given to us in the Bible.  One witness is Jesus speaking in the book of Matthew and the other is a prophet of God named Micah.  If you read the context verses of Micah 7:6 you will probably be like me and scratch your head and wonder how Jesus pulled this verse out to teach us about the family of God, but He obviously knew more than we did.   Here is the list of family individuals using the titles given to us in Micah 7:6:

  1. Son (the stated Man in Matthew)
  2. Father
  3. Daughter
  4. Mother
  5. Daughter-in-law
  6. Mother-in-law

We have now looked at two witnesses of the same information given to us about a certain family.

Let me teach you a sound technique that I use in many of my Bible studies.  When searching for subjects in the Old Testament Hebrew Bible how can we know when God is speaking of the same exact subject in the New Testament Greek language and vice versa?  Since the New Testament was written in a completely different language than the Old Testament that presents a challenge of great significance for us to have to deal with.   Here in this Bible study is where we can learn how to overcome this challenge.  Fortunately for us Jesus was quoting an Old Testament Hebrew text.  So all we need to do is to take what Jesus said in the Greek language and match it with what the prophet said in the Hebrew language and that gives us a list of the words in each language that are a perfect match.  Let’s do that with the family members for a later lesson where this information will be used:

This list contains the Strong’s number of the Hebrew words found in Micah 7:6 that match the Greek words in Matthew.  As you can see there is only one language match that cannot be completed because Jesus chose a different Greek word in Matthew 10:35 used to describe this family son as a man.  However, I will resolve that very soon.   What we have just learned is how words from two different languages can be legally connected together as one subject.  Now from this information I will be able to search the Old Testament and the New Testament for subject references that might help us expand our understanding on what God is describing.  Remember these words because I will use them again.

We are technically no closer to finding a solution to the puzzle and in fact we are probably further away from it at this point.  We have just learned both the Greek and Hebrew words that apply to the family member titles and that will help us later.  However, there is a third witness to this information mentioned in the book of Luke, so let’s go and read these verses and see what changes:

Luk 12:53  The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

I should emphasize that these words found spoken in Luke are also in red ink in my Bible, so they are the words coming directly from the mouth of God.  To me that makes them significantly more valuable for us to learn everything that we can about them.  Whenever God speaks something directly I believe that it has a higher degree of importance.  Do not misunderstand what I am saying, every Word in the Bible is important, but I place a higher priority on the direct Words of Jesus and that is just me and how I do it.  I believe that God’s words always have power, significance, purpose and meaning and they clearly give us direction, correction, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.  These words about a family must have some very significant meanings behind them to be included these 3 times in 3 different books of the Bible.  Do you understand this?  If you read verse 53 in Luke 12 you should be able to see that God gives us the same basic information found in both Matthew and Micah but with some subtle changes being made.  God uses a little bit different terminology, but the overall concept is still the same between the 6 given family titles.  We will notice that here in Luke Jesus chose the word “son” and this word is a precise match for the Micah son reference.  Therefore the Greek word G5207 will correspond to the Hebrew word H1121.   In every verse Micah, Matthew and Luke that we have reviewed the 6 titles are always paired together in the exact same order of mention.  But, in Luke each title is stated and then repeated in reverse order and I believe that this is a tricky way of bringing in more information.  We have the father divided against his son, the mother against her daughter and a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law.   While there is really nothing greatly apparent being changed in this verse there is some very important additional commentary information given by Jesus found in the verse prior to this one.  Jesus in verse 52 gives us some very important new information which changes almost everything about how we think of this family and this is really the beginning of the riddle.   Let’s read verse 52 and see what Jesus revealed to us:

Luk 12:52  For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

Anytime God qualifies a noun description it narrows the scope of the possible interpretations.  It also makes it very specific to only one family that fits the exact picture being described.  We see for the very first time that God is directly speaking of a single family unit and not just any random family.  God also reveals the exact number of family members in this house and it is exactly 5.  Where did Jesus get this information?  It was not in Micah 7:6 at all on the surface.  What we are observing is the extreme intelligence of God at work.  We can clearly see that Jesus in this verse is stating that there will only be 5 and not 6 members of one family household that will be divided against each other.  They will be divided 3 against 2 or 2 against 3.  To me this information is very revealing, but I know what it means and you don’t.  Obviously we can see using simple math 2 + 3 = 5 or 3 + 2 = 5 and we know that 5 family members is definitely not equal to 6 titles.   So we have a major problem and a conflict that needs immediate resolution.  We have a list of 6 titles and Jesus told us there are only 5 members in this family.  That is an enormous problem and a gigantic puzzle, a complex spiritual riddle or you could call it a huge Godly mystery being presented.  Let’s look at the list of the titles given to us again knowing this new information.

  1. Father
  2. Son (man)
  3. Mother
  4. Daughter
  5. Mother-in-law
  6. Daughter-in-law

I hope that you are beginning to see and understand the complexity of the riddle or puzzle being presented to us from God.  What I want you to do now, is to use some basic computer type logic to help you to decipher this multipart puzzle.   Let’s review the list of basic facts that have been given to us:

  1. God is describing One Family.
  2. There are 6 family titles described (Father, Son, Mother, Daughter, Daughter-in-law, Mother-in-law).
  3. There are only 5 total members in this 1 family.
  4. There are 2 direct males mentioned (son, father).
  5. There are up to 4 direct females mentioned (daughter, mother, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law).
  6. This family will be divided 3 against 2 or 2 against 3.
  7. The Father will be divided against his son.
  8. The mother against her daughter.
  9. The mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law.

If you do not understand that this informaton represents a very complex riddle, then you are probably reading the wrong Bible Study web-site.  So let me expand this basic factual information based upon the implications given but never directly named or described.  Any time that you have a reference to a woman with the title of “daughter-in-law”, you must have the existence of a wedding and a marriage to a male husband.   Out of the list of 6 possible named titles who can be married to who?   A son does not marry his mother so that is out.  A son does not marry his mother-in-law, so that is also ruled out.  A son would never marry his daughter, so that is also out.  A Son would also never marry his daughter-in-law and that is also out.  All of these statements would also hold true for the Father.  The father would never marry his mother, his mother-in-law, his daughter or his daughter-in-law so these are clearly ruled out relationships.  Now a father can marry the mother of his son and that is very normal.  A father can also marry the mother of his daughter and that is very normal.  But, the only way for his wife to become a mother-in-law is for their child to get married and this is again more complexity since we have only 5 possible candidates and only two males in the family.  Wow, this is tough, isn’t it?  Logically speaking we must conclude that it is the son who marries the woman who is called the daughter-in-law and this is the only possible correct fit for the limited relationships and titles given to us by God.  You will learn why this is so important as we continue to study.

I think I will end this Bible lesson here for today and leave you hanging.  You may still be debating in your mind that this is describing the spiritual family of God, but that is OK for now, it will come to clearer light as we continue.  Hopefully you can see that regardless of whose family is being described, it is a very significant riddle being presented to you.  What kind of family has 5 different family members and six different titles and fit exactly the pattern that your were given?  Therefore, see if you can use your brain and your logical reasoning power to come up with the answer to this riddle, if you can do this, you will impress me to no end.  Picture the facts that have been given to you and it might help you to draw the possible family tree diagrams that might fit the facts that were given to us.   I wish I could say this was easy to come up with and to solve but, it is not and this is a brain teasing challenge for you to work on this week.  If you can solve this puzzle before I post the solution you will certainly be led by the Spirit of God and I will be very impressed at your ability to see spiritual things as well as your puzzle solving capabilities.  I will also tell you that if you have read all of my other posts on this site, you have all of the information that you need to solve this perplexing puzzle.  Until next time, God Bless You!

Understanding Bible Faith! Are You Expecting? How Far Along Are You? Part 10

(Ver 1.2)  Today is Part 10 in a series of advanced lessons on Understanding Bible faith.  If you have not been reading this series from the beginning I would recommend that you go and start with “Part 1”.  These words in my title ask some specific questions that you might ask a pregnant woman.   Did you know that God created these natural processes to mimic and reveal to us the spiritual process of having faith?  You might be amazed to find the parallels in the Bible to these two realities, if you search for them and you can see the connections being taught.  Hopefully I will not get to graphic today, but this is a mature Christian subject since I might have to discuss sex.  I am personally glad that God created sex and not me.  Since it was nothing that I invented it is nothing that I can take credit for.  Obviously God created this activity for the bonds of covenant marriage and I might talk about that today also.  Do you recall how people get faith?  If you do, then make the transition to this next question.  How does a woman normally get pregnant?  You see my difficulty beginning to teach this subject today, don’t you?  In the modern world this can happen artificially, but in the world created by God if there was no sex, there were no babies.    We can tell by the nearly 7 billion people and growing on the planet that there has been a lot of sex.   Well today I am going to teach you about the spiritual concept revealed in sex and pregnancy that corresponds to God’s spiritual development of you having faith in God.  So natural babies, start by people having sex.  That is a basic viewpoint that seems rather obvious to me, but yet on the news and in our government they seem to forget this fact when it comes to allowing abortion.  If there was no sex there would be no abortions in the world and nobody wants to talk about that.  Oh well, I guess I better not go there today or I’ll get off track again. 

The concept of the husband sowing seed into his wife to have children is definitely a self-sustaining and self-perpetuating God created design of nature.   If you have never read my Bible lessons on “Understanding Seeds” then you might not understand that the sperm of a man is called his seed.  The human sperm is the natural seed of human life and it is required to perpetuate our race.  Calling multiple things by the same name “seed” is a complex technique used by God to conceal and reveal spiritual information in the Bible.  God uses the word “seed” to refer to around 10 different things in the Bible and all of these while different are very similar in design.  You see the “Word of God” is also called the “Seed of God” in Mark 4:14 and Luke 8:11.  We understand that God is a Spirit so God’s words are spiritual in nature.  Jesus said “the words that I speak unto you they are Spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).  We can therefore, conclude that God’s Words are the spiritual seeds of life.  We are already beginning to establish a direct connection between natural things and spiritual things by God’s interchangeable usage of the word “Seed”.  You might recall that in an earlier Bible lesson I taught you where Bible faith comes from.  Let’s review a verse that I gave you before:

Rom 10:17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

How does faith come?  It comes by you hearing God’s Seed!  Did you get the transition that I just made?  I can legally interchange “Seed” for “Word” by the laws of mathematics created by God.  If you do not understand these laws then you have never taken an Algebra class or you took the class and you didn’t learn anything from it.    What God is telling you, is that planting God’s Spiritual Seed into your heart (spirit) is the equivalent to a husband planting seed into his wife and them having a baby.   You plant a seed and you get a crop.  It is a basic design from God and it is really not that complicated.

Psa 62:5  My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

You see there are many strange verses found in the Bible that can literally be taken several different ways simultaneously.  This one in Psalms is no different.  Here is a verse that speaks of someone expecting from God.  This is the same concept that my wife told me when she said “you are the reason that I am expecting”.  Since I am teaching on the subject of being spiritually pregnant with the Word of God, what does a spiritual pregnancy infer?   Technically speaking if you have faith, you are expecting God to do what He has promised.  This is the concept of being spiritually pregnant.  Now, this concept is certainly more familiar to women, but yet if your wife has been pregnant you have at least an external perspective of the situation.  What occurs when a woman gets pregnant?   Things inside her begin to change and as time goes along, there is a growing force of eager expectation for the baby to come to fruition.   This concept is really no different than a farmer planting a field with a crop seed.  He plants the seed into the ground and then goes into expectation mode to wait for the crop to produce so he can harvest it.   Harvest time is akin to delivery time in a pregnancy.  This is the basis of Bible faith also.  God is revealing to you that you better be expecting His word to come to pass.  A woman is expecting to be delivered of her child when the time arrives and so it is with having faith.  If you expect God to deliver you from your current situation, then He will, however if you do not expect God to do anything then He will do that also.

Pro 10:28  The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

If you do not look up the definitions of the words in the verses that you read in the Bible, then you can easily miss what God is trying to say to you.  Unless you know Hebrew or Greek and can read the original languages, you need to study to figure out what is being stated.  There are just too many translation errors in every version of the Bible for you not to do this research.  This is the case for this verse, because the Hebrew word translated as “hope” is a word that means “to expect” or “expectation”.    This word expresses a human response of “waiting patiently”.  Uh oh?  That is a problem for many Christians, isn’t it?   We have just introduced a new key word to the faith equation of believing God.  God is teaching you that sometimes things take time.  Most people understand that a woman’s pregnancy term can vary, but that it generally takes 9 months to produce a healthy child.  So it is also with crops planted by the farmer in his field.  No seed planted is going to instantly produce the end result immediately.  Before the concept of harvest occurs there is always seed planting and a duration of time that occurs where we wait patiently for the result.  This is why many people start out walking by faith and then they give up because they think it is not working.  I have heard many faith critics teach against faith simply because they do not understand the complex dependent factors of how faith works.  These types of teachers obviously teach out of ignorance to their own downfall.

It is also important to note the difference between waiting patiently and waiting anxiously.  If you are worried you are not in faith.  If you are nervous, then you are not in faith.  If you are in fear, then you are not in faith.  Waiting patiently is another demonstration of having confidence in God.  If you are confident in God’s ability, power and His word then you are waiting patiently.  If you are worried or anxious if God is really going to do what He said, then you are about to abort your miracle.  Fortunately for Christians, patience is a fruit of the Spirit.  So learn to develop patients when standing on the word of God.

Heb 6:12  That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Here is a verse that certainly applies to our series about faith and possessing the Promised Land.  God is taking and connecting two different factors to produce one positive result.  Faith is intertwined with patience for you to inherit the promises of God.  So patience is a key ingredient in your successful positive outcome.   This is why the Word of God is so complicated.  It takes several simple concepts or ingredients to mix together to produce a good result.  That is why I could not teach you everything all at once.  It would have been too complicated and overwhelming.  So I try to introduce you to new concepts in stages so that you learn in manageable chunks of information.   Today subject is primarily about expectation and expectancy but you can see we just learned about a higher dimension of how patience plays a vital role in waiting for the harvest or the delivery.

Rom 4:18  Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

Here in this chapter of Romans, God gives us a major faith example for us to live and learn by.  God is speaking of the faith of Abraham.  Here was a man who was 99 years old with a 90 year old barren wife and God told him that I have made you a father of many nations.  If a human situation ever looked hopeless, Abraham’s situation was there for an example for us.  This verse says that “against hope, Abraham still had hope”.   However, this word for hope is not our modern word for hope.  When people in the modern world say “I really hope so”, they are meaning to say “I wish it were so”.   Abraham did not wish he would become the father of the promised child, this word says Abraham “expected” it to happen.  There was a level of expectancy within the spirit of Abraham that was conceived by the Word of God spoken to him.   This is an example of a spiritual pregnancy test that you should be taking on yourself today.  When a woman in the modern world thinks she is pregnant, there are things she can buy at the drug store that can be used to determine if she is pregnant.  These are natural “pregnancy tests” that confirm what she already thought was happening.  So I am making another spiritual transition from a physical reality and telling you that you need to do a spiritual pregnancy test to see if you are in faith.  If you do not have the promise of God in your spirit you need to get it into your spirit by speaking it to yourself as Abraham did.  Abraham went around calling himself the “father of nations” as his name in Hebrew meant.  This seed that was placed in Abraham’s heart developed and grew into a strong belief that God’s word was true despite the outward circumstances and appearances.  This is a faith lesson for you in your current circumstances.  No matter what it looks like on the outside, you need to look to the picture of a successful outcome on the inside of you.  If you are sick, you call yourself well.  If you are poor, you call yourself rich.  You do what God did for Abraham by saying what God said about you.

Gal 4:19  My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Paul of course was a man of God and that means he was a human male.  Yet Paul still compares the process taking place inside of him as an internal conception and birth process.   There are actually two conceptions being spoken of in this verse.  Paul had conceived and Paul was waiting for the people in Galatia to conceive and for Christ to be formed within them.  If we are looking at spiritual births, we must back up and see the steps that must have occurred for Paul to give birth spiritually speaking.   Paul is using his faith for the good of the people in Galatia.  However, this process is referred to in the terms of a child birth.  It is not a natural process it is a spiritual process that parallels the natural.  The Word of God is sown in the hearts of men and after time it produces the result of the word that was sown.  In other words if you need a specific answer to prayer, you better go get the specific promises of God Word that says you have it.  You put it into your heart and allow it to conceive there.  If you keep it in your heart and do not abort it, it will produce the result that you desired by faith.  I’ll give you one more example before I wrap this lesson up today.  Here are a couple of verses that demonstrate the spiritual concept of the heart giving birth that I have been teaching on, but in the reverse.   You see these are negative things that your heart can also produce:

Isa 59:4  None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

Jas 1:15  Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

As you can clearly read God is speaking of a conception in the human spirit again, but this time it is of lust and iniquity.   We learn several things from these verses.  We learn the spirit of people can conceive either good or evil.   Do you remember the lesson that I taught on seeds?  One of these lessons I taught on the seed parable that Jesus instructed us about the wheat and the tares.  The Wheat was produced by the Word/Seed of God and the tares were produced by an enemy sowing evil seed.  You heart is the soil and the words you allow into it are the crops that are producing either the good or the evil in your life.   What did God tell Adam in Genesis 2?  God said do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or you will surely die.  We obviously learn that Adam lusted and ate of the tree of evil and thus conceived and gave birth to death.  You see Adam could have chosen life, but his heart caused him to make the wrong choice and die (Gen 2:17).  You today have been given a redo opportunity by God.  Since Jesus came to the earth and redeemed us from the hand of Satan, we now have the opportunity to conceive life within us.  Remember what Jesus taught us?  Jesus said in John 10:10 that “I have come that you might have life and that life more abundantly”.  Yet here we are still downcast and trodden by the misconceptions of deceit from Satan that it can’t get any better than what we have in our life right now.  This is not true however, since God has given us His promises to possess.  These promises of God can produce the life that we need today to change our circumstances around.  If Abraham would have looked at the circumstances he would have given up.  But, since Abraham called himself a father of nations before he was one, he conceived it in his heart by faith and Sarah birthed the promised child.  Do you think that God is talking about Abraham and Sarah getting pregnant and having a child by accident or chance?  God is making a direct connection between natural pregnancy and that of spiritual pregnancy and you have to learn how to get spiritually pregnant by faith.   Let me expound on this point in conclusion.  If you understand natural things you know that the human male places literally millions of sperm cells inside of a woman.  Why did God do it this way when all it takes is one to get the result you desire?   After all there is only one egg and not millions of eggs in the woman.   God is giving you a spiritual lesson in this natural information.  There is only one spirit inside of your body and if you want to get it pregnant you better bombard it with a lot of the Word of God.   God’s Word is God’s Seed and Jesus taught us that from the abundance of the heart, things come out of it (Mat 12:34).  Whatever you put abundantly in your hear is what you will get it to produce.    If you want to follow after the wrong things in life God will allow this to happen.  You can conceive the wrong things in your spirit and die or you can put the Word of God there to give birth to good things.  This is how spiritual things work.  If you know how to have sex, then you know how to get faith and give birth to the promises of God.  Genesis 4:1 says “Adam knew his wife Eve and she conceived…”.  Do you know God?  Do you know God’s word?  Then it will conceive in your heart if you allow it to work and stay there the same way.  Get to know the Word of God and see if it will not produce life.   We still have a lot more to talk about in this series so come back expecting to learn.  God Bless you until next time!

Understanding Bible Faith! My God, My God, Why Have You Forsaken Me? Part 9

(Ver 1.2)  Today is Part 9 in a series of advanced lessons on Understanding Bible Faith.  If you have not been reading this series from the beginning I would recommend that you go and start with “Part 1”.  Today’s lesson is about having faith when it looks like it is not working.  We all struggle in this area at some point of time in our lives.  If you think you are different than everybody else, then you are deceived.  You can go through the Bible and read over and over about the stories of men who did great things for God and see that God had done great things for them and they all at one time or the other struggled to say, “God where are you?”.   One of the greatest prophets of God was Elijah.  He called down fire from God to consume the prophets of Baal.  Elijah stopped it from raining on the earth for three and half years and then commanded it to rain and it rained.  After all of these things, Elijah went into the wilderness downcast and depressed and asked God to kill him.  I am always amazed when I read the Gospels about Jesus hanging on the cross (Mat 27:46).  Here is the God of my Salvation dying on the cross for me and He says in the Hebrew tongue “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?    These words are translated as “My God, My God, Why have you forsaken me?”   Wow, I have difficulty comprehending that!    You should read through the Psalms of David and see how many times it looks like David is alone and in despair trying to encourage himself in the Lord.  David’s confidence level,  clearly was feigning and wavering in the face of his circumstances.  In fact these words spoken by Jesus on the cross were originally written down by David in Psalm 22:1.  Remember David was the one that killed the lion, the bear and then the giant Goliath.  But, yet when he was alone in a cave hiding from Saul, he felt despair.  We can see that it does not matter how many great things that God has done, we can all feel like we have been left alone.  What we learn is that there will always come times when life’s situations will seem overwhelming to us.  I have been there and I’m sure you have been there also.  Perhaps you are there today and that is why God is using me to write to you.  In this world there are events occurring daily that are extremely troubling.  Prices are rising, people are losing jobs, there are wars and riots all over the world, and there are earthquakes and death everywhere.   It is very easy to get into despair.  In the past few weeks, I have been teaching a series of lessons on having Bible faith in God’s Word.  As part of the lessons I taught that having confidence in God is an essential element to having success.  If the woman with the issue of blood did not have any confidence in what she heard about Jesus, she would not have gone fighting through the crowd to get her healing.  If you have no confidence then you have no faith.   So you should judge yourself and see where your confidence in God is on a daily basis.  You might have great confidence today and no confidence tomorrow.  You cannot judge your current confidence level upon your past experiences as you have learned from the examples of David and Elijah.  Today I am doing what I am teaching you to do, I am checking up on my confidence level to see if I am where I need to be.

1Jn 5:14  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Here is the first great faith verse to know and to understand about prayer.  This verse speaks of you having confidence.  This verse is talking about prayer to God and asking for Him to do something for you.  But, it qualifies the fact that there is a correct prayer and there is an incorrect prayer.  God informs us that you better only ask Him for something that is His will or He will not even hear our prayer.  How do we know what to pray for then based upon that?  If you recall in my Faith series, I taught you about possessing the Promised Land.   We are supposed to go through the Bible and learn what God has promised to us and only then will we know what His will is.  God’s will is always based upon God’s word.  You see if you are praying for God to heal you today, I’m sorry but you may not have any confidence in God.  Are you asking according to His will?  If you are what scriptures are you using to base your confidence?  What is the will of God for healing you?  Do you have any divine promises that says He will heal you?  If you can quote the verses to me, then you have a sound foundational basis for having confidence, if you cannot quote them and you have to go look them up, then you have no confidence because you do not know what God has spoken.

It is like a man who prays for salvation from God.  He is very sincere and he opens his mouth and says “God please save me” over and over again.   What is God’s reaction to that type of prayer?  I believe that God will say “I came to the earth, I died on the cross, and I shed my blood for your salvation already, what do you expect me to do now?”  God would also say “I already did save you; my part is done now you do your part and receive it”.  I heard a story of a man who kept telling a preacher, “When God gets ready he will save me”.  This preacher tried to tell the man that God had done His part to save him already.  But, the man just kept believing, that God was going to save him some day.  When this man was very old lying on his death bed he still believed the same thing and died and went to hell.  When people think and believe wrong they do without the blessing of God.  If you are waiting on God to do something, you are thinking wrong and you better learn to change to see that God has already given you the Promised Land and He is waiting on you to possess it.  These are examples of praying in error, believing in error and doing without.  When you pray and ask for something that God says has already been given to you then you are basically saying to God “I don’t believe you Lord”; “Please give me the Promised Land”.   God is still going to tell you “It is yours already”.   But, you are going to say I’m still in the wilderness and I don’t have it and God is going to say by faith you do.  That is one of the primary problems that Christians have today, God says by faith you will possess it and by having no faith you will miss out on it and die in the wilderness.

1Jn 5:15  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

If you actually know something then you can have great confidence in it happening.  However, it depends upon who is speaking to you, doesn’t it?  If I told you that I will meet tomorrow in Washington D.C. at the capitol rotunda, would you have any confidence of the meeting happening?  Not, if you do not know me.  You see you are only going to have confidence in those that you know who are faithful and true.   If you do not know that God is faithful and true then you will have no confidence in Him answering your prayer either.  So what did we just learn about how to pray with confidence? 

  1. Find the Bible promises that have been given to you.
  2. Put them into your heart by speaking them to yourself over and over.
  3. Pray in faith according to the promise that was given to you believing you receive it.
  4. Since you prayed and asked God knowing His will, you now know the Bible says God heard you.
  5. Since you know God heard you, you now know that you have what you asked for by faith.
  6. Therefore, you don’t pray and ask God for it again tomorrow because it looks like it didn’t happen.
  7. What I like to do is to thank God for giving me the answer, even though I do not see it in the natural yet.
  8. Then once it does show up in the natural, then I fight to hold on to it so that Satan does not come to try to take it away from me.

It sounds easy until you realize that it takes time for the answer to arrive from God.  When Daniel prayed to God and asked for a simple answer, he waited and fasted for three weeks and finally the angel of God arrived with the answer.   I do not know how long it would have taken if it was a really big thing that Daniel needed, but it makes me wonder.  We like to think that God is omnipotent and can just cause things to happen instantly.  But, this is not what the Bible teaches us.  The angel told Daniel the very day you prayed I was sent by God, but the prince of Persia withstood me so that I could not come (Dan 10:13).  You see there are spiritual forces other than God in the world and these are not on God’s side.  These evil spirits are set to destroy you, kill you and steal from you and they are doing everything in their power to cause God’s blessings not to come to you.  These are some of the spiritual giants of the Promised Land that will come to try to keep you out.  So just because you pray according to the will of God and you know that He heard you, you will be presented a daily challenge for a time to believe that you have what God has given to you.  This is why God says for you to Fight the Good Fight of Faith (1 Tim 6:12).  Faith is a spiritual fight to possess the Promised Land and you are responsible for this fight.  We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and the rulers of the darkness of this world (Eph 6:12). 

When praying and asking God for anything and it does not happen in a reasonable timeframe, learn to recognize where the problem lies.  If you have prayed for something for 10 years and God is still silent about it, then God is not the problem you are.   I once heard a minister say this; “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”.   This same minister said if I pray and God does not answer in a short time, then I change and find out what I’m doing wrong.  You see God tells us that He is always faithful and God says He does not ever change (Mal 3:6).  So if God is not changing where does the change need to occur in order for you to see your miracle?  Wow, I said some really important things today, but this is one of the greatest ones that you need to learn quickly.  Quit praying for things that God has already said “I’ve done that!”.   Quit praying for the same thing over and over.  Either get into faith and receive the answer from God or start to realize that you may just be wasting your breath.

Pro 3:26  For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Pro 14:26  In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

Here are just a couple of verses about having confidence in God.  It appears to me that having confidence in God helps to save us from trouble.   God speaks of a place of refuge which is like a safe house in a major storm.  God speaks of not being taken, and that is again speaking of being kept safe.  Perhaps I should discuss a little bit about what “confidence” is.  If I have confidence in someone, then I can put my trust in them.  This is the common bond to a healthy marriage.  When each spouse trusts the other, they have confidence in their decisions and actions that they are true.   If you spouse is unfaithful you learn very quickly that trust is gone.  This is our relationship with God also.  We have a covenant with the Most High God.  In the eyes of God this is a marriage contract built on mutual trust.  I hope you understand these concepts.  If you do not, go and read my Bible lessons on “Understanding Covenants”.

Rth 2:12  The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

You see the trust concept plays a huge role in your relationship with God.  The better you know Him the more you will learn to trust Him.  The less you know Him the minimum amount of confidence you will have in Him.  I believe God understands the concept that trust grows.  Here in this verse in Ruth, God is saying that the woman Ruth has grown to trust in the God of Israel.  After all she was a Gentile who was not in covenant with Him.  She had no basis for having any confidence in the God of Israel.  Yet she by faith learned to grow in trust of the Lord and became one of the women in the lineage of Jesus.

Pro 30:5  Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

God is telling you that you can trust His words.  You can put your full confidence in what God says.  This is a basic model of having faith in a God that you cannot see and cannot prove exists, yet you believe He will do what He said He will do.  I will tell you today that God will move heaven and earth for any man or woman on the earth that will believe Him.

2Ch 16:9  For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

This verse tells me that God is searching for someone to bless.  It clearly tells us the eyes of God are in heavy search mode looking for someone.   What have we learned from reading the Bible is the key determining factor to whether God does anything for anybody on the earth?  You better say it is because they had faith.  You can go and read Hebrews chapter 11 and see that God’s Faith hall of fame encompasses most of the famously named individuals who did great exploits for God in the Old Testament.  God lists these people to show you that faith was the determining factor for their success in life.  The basis of their success however was also because they had great confidence in their God and His ability to save and deliver them.  So we are not putting our confidence in ourselves or our ability to do anything, we are merely exalting God to His rightful place as the source of all of our confidence and trust.

I had a man today, write me and tell me I sounded arrogant in what I teach.  This man clearly did not understand the concept of confidence and trust.  If I taught things that I learned on my own abilities then I would be having confidence in me and that would be arrogance and foolishness.  However, I teach things that God has taught me and therefore I have learned that I can depend upon Him and put all my confidence in Him so sometimes I come across sounding arrogant to narrow minded people, but hopefully to others, they will also see that they can learn to have the same level of confidence that I possess and grow in it to become even greater.  I am not talking about me or you being great, I’m talking about our confidence in God being great and growing.   You can learn to have confidence in God also and someday you will see that you may also sound a little arrogant.  Just do not confuse arrogance with confidence because they both sound very similar to the untrained ear.  You can learn to trust Him.  But, you are going to have to find out what He said in His word in order to do this.  Read the Bible like it is a personal letter written only to you.  Claim what you need and then go and possess it.  God Bless!

What Does God Think of Homosexuality? Pt 2 Searching for the Modern God for the Modern Family in the Modern World?

(Ver 1.2)  This is Part 2 of a series of lessons about “What does God think about the subject of Homosexuality”.  This will be a little bit different today than my usual Bible lessons, but certainly not less controversial in any degree.   I am committed to tell the truth regardless of what it costs me, so if I lose readers today, I’m sorry, but I believe that someone has to tell you the truth.  You might ask, why do I write so much about this subject of homosexuality and not any other sin?  The primary reason that I write so much about it is because it is the only sin that I know of that is being preached and taught to be a normal reality of the truth and an acceptable alternative Christian lifestyle.   Homosexuality is the only sinful habit that is portrayed on TV, in movies, on the internet and in magazines to be normal.  You never see a murderer on TV as being someone who is normal.  It is only the Homosexual Community that has organized themselves into groups that promotes their agendas and their lifestyles as a minority group equivalent to the African American, Asian or Hispanic population of our country.   It is only the Homosexual community that is exalting their sin to be equivalent to the color of someone’s skin.  It is only the homosexual community that has support groups to help people to be and stay gay.  Alcoholics have AA which is a group to help them get free from alcohol.  But, now the Gay community wants everyone to believe this is just who we are and we can’t change.  If only the convicted rapists and child molesters in our country could learn how successful this is working for the Gay Community, I’m sure in the future we will see another organized sinful group come forward promoting themselves to everyone that this is just how I am and how God created me so you will just need to accept me like I am.  After all I have rights.  So this is why I will preach against homosexuality by proclaiming the truth of the Word of God and why I do not talk about other sins to this level.  As soon as murderers and rapists start to organize I’ll preach against them next.  It might shock you that I compare homosexuality to murder and rape, but according to the word of God sin is sin no matter what sin you are guilty of.  You will also note that God gave gay sinners in Sodom and Gomorrah the death penalty for their lifestyles so that is another good reason to lump them together.   You should read the law of God in Deuteronomy and Leviticus and find out what were death penalty acts in the eyes of God.  You might be surprised at what you find there.  Maybe I will show you some of these scriptures later in this lesson.  Therefore, according to God and the Bible I can lump your every sin in the same general wrong behavior category.  If you feel slighted and want to organize a movement for your sin to be accepted, I’ll give you the same level of attention as I do to homosexuality.  The louder the Gay Agenda gets, the louder I’ll get with the truth so that someone will hopefully hear it.  So this is Part 2 and if you did not read “Part 1” you should go and start there.

 Modern Family Cast Picture

I can look around in movies, on TV and on the internet and see that there is something that has been building that is still very disturbing to me.  It is nothing new, but it is a growing threat of deception to our world that we live in.  So I will talk about it and see what the Bible says, to hopefully change someone’s perspective on reality.  Here in America there is a popular award winning TV show that is called “Modern Family”.  It is humorous to me that they call it “modern” when it is actually not a new or modern situation at all.  The Bible tells us that there is nothing new under the sun (Ecc 1:9), so obviously anything they are claiming to be modern has already happened within our human history but they want to ignore this fact.  There is a famous quotation that states “Those that ignore the past are condemned to repeat it”.  This TV show is a basic redefinition of the classic Bible and God family which consists of a husband and a wife using humor to preach their Gay message of acceptance and tolerance.   Too many times modern people think that if you make sin funny then it is possible to say and do anything and we will buy into it.   If you watch this show and laugh at their jokes then you have already bought into their message of the existence of a normal sin.   Notice the picture that I included from the cast of this TV show.  Notice how they mix subtly the sin with the normal and dress them all alike in white portraying the message of normal and purity.  They have preached a deceived gospel that is designed to confuse people into acceptance.

I do not watch this show and the only reason that I know about it is from watching the morning news type programs that report about them and interview their actors or just talk about them.  In this morning’s show they interviewed some “modern families” that they discovered in America.  One modern family was a household that consisted of two women who now had two young sons.  This family had a sperm donor who was also a gay man in his own modern relationship in order to even have these children.  I do not know or understand that the fact that they had to go to an outside party to produce a child was a problem to them?  In interviewing one of the children, he told us that this family was just like every other family and that the house was built around love.  Of course he had two moms and when he called for mom, one would answer and he would have to say no, my other mom.  His dad (sperm donor) was not living in his house but would spend time with them on the weekends and none of this mattered to this child.  Obviously to him and his narrow perspective this was a normal family like everyone else.  So it is very clear to me that this family is deceived and highly confused to what the definition of normal is and what God thinks about this type of arrangement.  You see if you are raised in an abnormal house and you do not know the difference to what normal is then to your perception of reality and your circumstances become normal to you.  What if you were Tarzan, raised in the jungle by a family of apes, would you not think that your ape family was totally normal?  All that I can see is that if they have concluded that their family is no different than any other family in America, then Christians have done a very poor job of revealing God to the rest of the world to show what normal really is.  This TV show called Modern Family has won acclaim and awards and has a major following in America.  Forty years ago this show would not have even made it on TV, but today we have become so much more progressive (degenerate, perverted, debased, deviant, depraved, immoral) in our views of what is allowable and permissible that it is no wonder that this show is on TV.   This is because we live in a modern world and everything is different now, right?   This is certainly what people want you to think anyway, but technically speaking there is nothing that is different today than what it was four or five thousand years ago.  Of course we have technology, cell phones, cars and airplanes, sperm donors, en-vitro and all of these types of things that are new, but the people that are using them are the exact same kind of people who lived thousands of years ago.  Let me show you what God wrote a long time ago:

Ecc 1:9  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Are you under the sun?  Is this talking about you?  According to the Bible and what it teaches us there is absolutely nothing that exists today that has not already happened yesterday.  People want to look at only external things and ignore people, their thoughts, emotions, intentions, desires, lusts and the other hidden things of the heart and say today we have different more modern challenges facing us.   No you see we still struggle with the exact same challenges as Solomon who wrote this verse in the Bible thousands of years ago.  We envy each other, we become jealous of each other and we still desire so many things that are only for our own individual purpose.  Do people still rob each other, kill each other and lie to each other?  Exactly what is different today than back then?  Can you really come up with any new or modern emotions, motivations or thoughts that anyone can think today?  Oh, sure you couldn’t text your message back then and you couldn’t blog about your thoughts back then, but what is different other than that?  Are not the messages still the same?  How you do something is not as important as what you are doing and why.  People today look at homosexuality as being a major change to the modern family.  People think that this is some new physical attraction that has never existed before.  It is funny how God wrote about homosexual men in Genesis the first book of the Bible and tells us how He destroyed this city called Sodom because of their immoral lifestyle.   If God writes about homosexuality in the first book of the Bible, this is proof that this is not something new just for today.  Go read the Genesis 19 account of the city of Sodom and see the story of how Lot and his wife and were a normal family who lived in a modern city of progressive homosexuals and then see that this is exactly what we are seeing on the news today.   The only thing that we are not seeing today that did happen then is God rained down fire and brimstone to kill them all and I’m sure that this is coming in the near future after God takes me out of here like he took Lot’s family.  There is truly nothing new under the sun.

People like to confuse and combine God’s love and forgiveness with God’s acceptance.  After all, the Bible says “God so loved the world that He gave…” (John 3:16).  So people have concluded in error that since God loves them how they are right now (which is true) that God also accepts them as they are right now (which is not true) and there is no growth process or changes to ever make in their lives.   However, you cannot find that in any verse in the Bible.  God loves you yes, but God loved you so much that He gave, so that you could change to love Him back.  You cannot ignore parts of the Bible you do not like to accept only the parts that you do like.  The Bible informs us that God is a Holy God and that must be balanced corretnly with a Loving God theology equally.   There is a central theological theme not found in many modern churches very often and this is the concept of repentance that goes with the concepts of God’s love and forgiveness.   I doubt very seriously if any modern gay church preaches about repentance.  They must tear these pages out of their Bibles in order not to offend anyone.   Everyone in the modern church wants to be forgiven, saved and not go to hell, but it seems that not very many actually want to repent and change to do it.  To be repentative is a divine concept that originates from you “being sorry” for your past.  Sorrow begins by recognizing what you were doing was wrong and then turning your boat around to make a new course of change and correction for your life.  As long as you are happy with your sin, you are not able to be repentant.  If I did not love you I would not try to tell you the truth.   I would not care and I would be like everyone else in the world.  It is only because I love that I write you a letter of truth to try to help you.

You see I got a long comment from a man that called himself a gay Christian and today is my response to his ignorant comment.  He is obviously confused and deceived into thinking he is a Christian and that God has saved him.  However, he told me very plainly that he had no intention of ever changing.   He was happy as a gay man and that this is just how God made him.   You see, he told me that he had these thoughts and feelings since he was just six years old and therefore he concluded this was just who he was.  This is a clear demonstration of how easy it is for the devil to deceive people in the world.  Because he did not understand that he was a spirit living in a body and how spiritual things work and how Satan can easily bring abnormal thoughts and feelings to natural humans from the supernatural realm, he had just learned to accept them as normal reflections of who he thought he was.  He allowed his abnormal thoughts and feelings dictate and define who he was, rather than attempting to learn the TRUTH from the Words of the Creator God who made him to be a man.  What people do not realize is that Satan can give you evil thoughts even from a young age and tell you whatever you want to hear.  Satan can tell you that you are just a monkey.  A man named Darwin believed this for a while and wrote a book about it; maybe you read his ignorant book also.  Why is this gay man not a Christian?  There is no repentance present; no sorrow and no desire to change.  Jesus said “If you love me you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15).   Obviously my gay commenter does not love Jesus or he would not ignore God’s commandments.  Do you know what the commandments of God are?  The commandments of God say some very direct things about this subject that leaves no room for interpretation.    No the words homosexual and  homosexuality are not in the Bible.   Maybe you think you have searched your Bible and God is silent about this issue, or it could be that you just did not know what to look for.  Here is one of the commandments of God that you need to know:

Lev 20:13  If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

According to God’s Law, this verse says that homosexuality was a capital offense in Israel.  God gave these words to Moses for the people to learn what is acceptable and what an abomination in the eyes of God is.  This verse says that when a man has sex with another man in a manner designed for a woman that it is disgusting in His eyes.  So why do you not know how to read or see the truth presented right in front of you?  It is simply because you are not interested in seeing the truth.  If find the truth is not a priority in your life there will be no truth found.  Today too many people would rather live their lives of lies rather than to change to know the truth.  Let me give you another witness of what the Bible actually says:

Lev 18:22  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

This says the same thing, but the Bible says let every word of truth be established in the mouths of two or three witnesses so I wanted to give you another Bible verse that speaks of males having sex with other males like they were females.  God still says it is a disgusting human act.   Let me give you another verse that applies to this subject today:

Deu 22:5  The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

The Bible says some pretty shocking things.  God pulls no punches nor does he ignore any sin.  God is smarter than you obviously think.  God says that if a man dresses like a woman or a woman dresses like a man, it is an abomination to God.  I see this everyday on TV and in movies.  Cross dressing fantasies are a normal type of behavior in the world today.  We have movies like “Tootsie” and others that have popularized this behavior as being normal.  You can walk down the street and see someone and think, is that a woman until you get up close to them and see that they are just a man dressed like a woman.  This is basic homosexual behavior and they view it as normal.  If you have ever seen a gay pride parade you will know what I am talking about.  If you have ever seen a gay convention or assembly it is easy to spot this behavior.  Are not these the commandments from God that Jesus said if you love me you will do my commandments?   If you do not think so you are more than confused you are deceived, and I cannot help you.  Do you suddenly think that God has changed to delete these words from the Bible or that they do not suddenly apply to the modern world?  Maybe you think that God has changed His Book of Commandments to the a modern Book of Suggestions.  Has God updated His theology to include a modern interpretation of this very old information?  This is what my gay commenter is hoping for.   There are many who try to teach the O..T. law is not valid anymore but I disagree with that wrong assessment.  Sodom and Gomorrah were both destroyed before the law of Moses was even given.   You can clearly see that if God destroyed these cities for their immoral acts of homosexuality and that this must still cause problems in the modern world.  Read this next verse in the N.T. very carefully:

Jud 1:7  Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

What does God still say about Sodom and Gomorrah here in the book of Jude in the New Testament?   God says that these were examples of men going after strange flesh who are now in the flames of eternal fire.   Do you think that they are happy in hell right now?  Do you think they are still having a party in hell right now, having sex with each other?  If you do you do not understand that the spirits of men and women in hell do not have physical sex anymore.  Plus the torment of hell is so great that there would be no way that you could have any pleasure even if you wanted it.

According to Malachi 3:6, God says “I am the Lord and change not”.   Then in James 1:17 it says “There is no variableness or shadow of turning” with God.  So if you are looking for a modern God to accept your modern sin lifestyle choices you are about to be greatly disappointed with your decisions that you have made.  You have placed all of your faith in a made up temporary fantasy world rather than accepting the truth.  Even if you were really gay and lived to be 99 years old, it would not matter billions of years from now if you are in hell.  Eternity in hell is a never ending place of torment.   You see if I did not love you I would not bother to tell you the truth.  It is only because I love you that I care where you spend your eternity.  So as long as there is a gay person standing up for equal rights, I will teach the truth.  As long you say this is just who I am, I will tell you that you have no idea who you really are.

I challenge you to search your Bible for your definition of the modern family and see if you can find it.  Then search your Bible for your definition of the modern God and see if you can find Him also.  Sure God loves you and died for your sins just like he died for my sins.  So I am definitely no better than you are.  But, there is a difference between us, I repented and changed and you are happy with the way you are.   Just because God loves you, does not mean that God will force salvation upon you.  Sure God is powerful enough to do this if He wanted to, however it is just the love of God that restrains Him from doing this to give you a freewill choice.  God will never use His force or power to make you change unless you ask Him to change you and that is totally different.  You see I had another commenter on my website who spoke of coming out of homosexuality.  So there is proof that this is possible in the world today if you look for it.  If you are happy with your life today then you have allowed Satan to deceive you into a temporary state that will not last very long.

Heb 11:25  Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Here is God’s reaction to the sin and lifestyle choices that you are making today.  Here in this verse God informs us what causes people to get noticed by Him.   Because Moses chose to be with the people of God He is included in the Bible as a hero of the faith.  If Moses would have chosen to live sinful in Egypt for what God calls a season, God says that he would have lost out on his good eternal outcome.  Sure sin has pleasure attached to it for a while.  But, pleasure for a short while and torment for an eternity is a crazy choice to make.  I am one of the ones that God says are His people and I have come to you with an old message of choice.  You can still choose today to have your pleasures in Egypt over entering into Kingdom of God with the people of God, but your eventual outcome will be a very sad one.    I’ll pray that you will make a higher choice to come out of Egypt.

Understanding Marriage, Can Our Marriage Continue Throughout Eternity?

(Ver 1.1)  This will be an extremely advanced Bible study about a subject that many married Christians have thought on at one time or the other.  Today, I want to focus in on a challenging question that I had presented to me from a reader.   It was an excellent question and I appreciate getting stimulating questions form people.   She wondered if her marriage between her and her husband would still be able to continue after this life ends.  She told me that they loved each other greatly and did not want the marriage to ever end.  She had read some of my other lessons where I taught some potentially troubling things that concerned her future marriage to her husband and thus the reason for the question.  I do want to say up front that I admire this couple’s resolve and dedication to each other.  It is a highly commendable attitude to take hold of and to keep.  Anyone going into a marriage should be fully committed to that marriage for however long it might be and for whatever negative things that might occur.  Recently on the national news a very prominent Christian TV personality was caught cheating on his wife.  This couple after several years of counseling and help from God has decided to remain together and are attempting to rebuild the trust that was lost.  While I do not admire the actions of the man to cheat, I do admire that he sees fit to change and get it right and for his wife’s ability to forgive.   So this is a very hard question to answer without potentially offending someone or causing anyone to become discouraged, but I will try to do the best that I know how from my current level of knowledge of the Bible and then I’ll let you decide what you want to believe.  Let’s first start talking about what marriage is.

Mal 2:14  Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

Jer 31:32  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

 You can surely see from these verses in Malachi and Jeremiah that God says a marriage is defined to be a covenant in His eyes.  A Bible blood covenant is a legally binding contract between the husband and the wife based upon the Word of God.  God told Israel, that I made a covenant with you when I took you out of Egypt and I was your husband.  That would make Israel His wife in covenant with God.  These are very clear definitions to what a covenant and a marriage are.  A covenant and a marriage are clearly synonymous terms for the same thing.  When a Christian couple unites in covenant marriage they become “one flesh” according to the Word of God and the law of marriage.  You can read this fact in several places in the Bible, but the first time it is mentioned is when Adam and Eve are created in Genesis 2.  The body of the wife was taken from the body of her husband and God says they are one flesh (Gen 2:24).  This is God’s natural law of marriage covenant between a male and a female and this law is still in effect in the New Testament (Mat 19:5, Mark 10:8, Rom 7:2, Eph 5:31).  You do understand that Adam and Eve were created before the Old Covenant.  So anything that happens before the old covenant is still in effect after the old covenant has ended.  In the eyes of God if you marry someone and consummate that marriage, you are now one flesh that cannot be legally separated for any reason except two Bible exceptions that are given to us by God.  God gives us only one legitimate reason for divorce and this is infidelity (Mat 5:32, Mat 19:9).  Divorce is the legal end to a marriage covenant contract and God says that this is only permissible if your spouse is unfaithful.  If your spouse is adulterous and sleeps around, you are free to divorce them without fear of punishment, legal recourse or retribution from God.  This is what the Bible says, so if you divorced for any other reasons you will have some future issues with God.  I’m not going to go there anymore since divorce is not my primary subject.  The only other legal end to a marriage covenant is when one spouse dies a physical death.  According to God’s word that marriage is over.

Rom 7:2  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

According to this verse it is very clear that God says the law of marriage is null and void when death occurs.   As long as you both are alive and neither is unfaithful you are bound by the law of marriage and God.  But, as soon as your spouse dies, then you are not bound to that legal covenant any more.  We can recognize that death is a legal separating force for the termination of covenants.  This is actually a very important Bible concept that I might not get into fully in this lesson.  This concept is introduced when Ruth says to Naomi I will go where you go and your people will be my people.  Then Ruth 1:17 says until death part thee from me.  This is a popular wedding vow phrase that many have spoken when they were married.  The bride and the groom were promising to be faithful until death do we part.  You can read about this in some of my other lessons of why God did this and how He used it to terminate His covenant with Lucifer.  I want you to see the Greek definition for the word translated as “loosed” found in Romans 7:2:

From G2596 and G691; to be (render) entirely idle (useless), literally or figuratively: – abolish, cease, cumber, deliver, destroy, do away, become (make) of no (none, without) effect, fail, loose, bring (come) to nought, put away (down), vanish away, make void.

It would seem to me that this word is a very strong definition for the termination of a marriage covenant.  You can read in the definition “vanish away”, “make void”, “render idle”, “abolish”, “cease”, “destroy” and you can clearly see that there is really no other way to take these statements other than literally.  A death when it occurs in a marriage covenant represents a separating force that renders your previous obligations ineffective, useless and vain.   So while you would like to think that your marriage is eternal you must take the words of the most intelligent being (God) to be a greater witness to what actually occurs.  If you choose to ignore God’s words for what you want to believe it does not cause God’s words to fail or not to come to pass.

I heard a minister say once that he and his wife had made a covenant to stay together in heaven.  They enjoyed each other so much that they could not bear to part like my reader.   While he did not give any scriptures to back this promise, I’m totally convinced that it might be a possibility for them in some degree.  You see I do not know of any scripture that says you cannot speak to others in heaven and establish relationships or friendships.  This would further mean if you can speak with someone then you can do other things with that person as well, like walk the streets of gold, eat, fellowship, or whatever.   While Jesus was on the earth, He constantly said “According to your faith…” and “As you have believed…”.   Jesus seemed to emphasize the faith and beliefs of the people to be a determining factor to what happened to them on the earth.  Is faith still a determining factor in heaven?  Is how you believe still a defining influence to what you get throughout eternity?  That is an excellent question to consider.  I personally believe that God would not have gone to such extensive efforts to produce a people of faith, if faith was not a future eternal gift to possess and use.  Here is a Bible verse that tends to give that impression also:

1Co 13:13  And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

God says that there “abides” faith, hope and love and God seems to indicate that these will continue forever.  Faith is mentioned first, but God says Love is the greatest of these three.  Since the Bible says that God is Love, we know that love is an eternal concept that will never end.  If Love will be a dominant characteristic in heaven then faith will surely be there also.  The Greek word translated as “abide” means “to continue”, “to be present”, “to endure” and “to stay in a given place”.  This word seems to indicate that faith will be present in heaven and if it is like it was on the earth, what you believe is usually always what you get out of life, good, bad or indifferent.

So I have concluded that it might be entirely possible to remain in a relationship in heaven if that is what you both believed for.  Now the complexity factor is increased because of this additional emphasis which you must place on the Bible.  Bible faith or beliefs are always based upon what God tells us in the Bible.  If God says anything is for you, then you can believe it is yours and possess it.  Then there is inverse truth to that law which is that you cannot believe God for something that violates His Word and expect to get it.  Therefore, if you believe for something that is sinful, hurtful, harmful, lustful, or a violation of the Word of God you will probably not get what you were expecting.  Let’s say a man wants to live with a woman in eternity that was another man’s wife on the earth, would that be permissible or even remotely possible?  You can begin to see the complexity that is involved in multiple personalities wanting the same thing and what is the resolution?  I guess what we need to do is figure out what the Bible actually says on the subject and then believe for that.  In our world, people marry and divorce like it is no big deal.  There are many people in the world who have married multiple times.  Some have done this because their spouses have all died, but others have done it because they thought the grass was greener on the other side of the hill.  What happens when a person in our world is married multiple times and then they are saved and go to be with the Lord?   Jesus actually was presented this hypothetical question in the Gospels and here is this story:

Mat 22:24  Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

It is very interesting to note that the Law of Moses does not tell a woman to remain unmarried if her husband has died and she has had no children.  In fact the Law that God gave to Moses actually commands the opposite.  It is interesting to note that God is not opposed to being married multiple times and you should think about that.  It is more important to God why you have been married multiple times and not if you have been married multiple times.  Here in this story the woman’s dead husband’s younger brother is supposed to marry her and raise up children for his dead brother.  This means to have sex with her and give her children.  So we can clearly see that God is saying something can’t we?  Now the additional complexity comes in if they have already had children, then there is not a requirement to remarry and it is permissible for her children to take care of her in her old age.  The law was intended to give a childless widow an option that would cause her to not stoop to prostitution to feed herself.  I believe that God was looking out for the widow in this law and that it has spiritual meanings attached to it that I cannot get into today.

Mat 22:25  Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:

So in the hypothetical question being presented to Jesus there are said to be seven brothers and one woman.   The first brother dies and leaves his wife to his brother, like the Law of Moses so states.

Mat 22:26  Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.

They continue to go through the list of brothers in ordered succession and each has had their turn to be married to the same woman in this world.    This is one woman who had seven different husbands.  Surely you have read this in the Bible before?  But, did you understand it?

Mat 22:27  And last of all the woman died also.

Finally the woman dies and is buried and then what?  This is where we are today in this lesson of what happens next after this life?  The men that were standing with Jesus are about to ask him a question.  Here is the question finally presented after the long background discourse:

Mat 22:28  Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

Jesus was being questioned by a group of Jews who did not believe in the resurrection from the dead.  The Sadducees did not believe in the resurrection, so they were trying to get Jesus to see their point of view by asking a hypothetical question about it as a trick.  The Pharisees did believe in the resurrection based upon words, from something that they had read in the Old Testament it gave them the impression that death was not the end of the journey.   So the Sadducees ask Jesus which husband will this woman belong to since she was “one flesh” with all of them.  Wow, that is a tough, tough question to answer unless you are God who knows how to handle hard questions.

Mat 22:29  Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

So here we go with the response of the creator of the universe and this is a potentially explosive answer that can be interpreted many wrong ways.  If you look at just the first part of the entire response you could say that these guys did not understand the scriptures and Jesus was saying there was no resurrection coming.  But, that is not what Jesus said at all.  Jesus literally said “You are in error not understanding the scriptures or the power of God”.   This verse actually gives us some tremendous insight into two things.  The answer to their question was clearly found in the Old Testament, if we can see it and understand it.  The next item to consider is that the Power of God is involved in the solution to the mystery.  Jesus was in effect saying if you understood how powerful God was, you would not be asking such a foolish natural question.  Wow, that is tough right there to handle isn’t it?  It almost sounds like my reader’s question of can I still be married to my husband in heaven?  Would Jesus give the same answer to my reader’s question as He did to the one that these guys asked?  I do not know for sure how to answer that.  I just know that God says “With Him ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE”.  So I’m not sure if I helped or hurt with that last statement.  Let’s continue through the answer that Jesus gives us and see what else He has to say:

Mat 22:30  For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Here we have a very interesting statement where Jesus continues His answer to the men’s question.  Did you see what Jesus said?  Jesus definitely said there is a resurrection coming, it has not occurred yet, so it is a future event within God’s calendar.  Next, Jesus said after the resurrection that people will neither marry or be given in marriage.  Let’s stop there and think about that part of the statement.  The Greek word translated as “marry” means to wed and applies to either sex, male or female.  God says males and females will not marry after they are raised in the resurrection.  Then the Greek word “given in marriage” is a term only for females when a daughter is given to her future husband to become his bride.  These are very familiar topics and subjects that we are all familiar with in this world.  We see this happening all around us.  But, Jesus clearly says that this is not what will happen after the resurrection occurs.  The question then shifts to why?  Does it mean it is not possible or just not permitted or could it be a third option that you have not considered?  You see in the world today you see things from a very narrowly focused point of view.   What will change after the resurrection occurs?   Is it possible that you will not have the same desires and your focus will experience a transformation which will permit you to see things completely different?  Read this verse very carefully:

1Co 13:12  For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

There seems to be some clues in the Bible that we do not see things very clearly in this world.  In other words our spiritual vision is clouded and our perspectives are skewed.  I believe what God is saying to us is that what we hold as valuable in this world, when reflected on could become very minor to us when viewed correctly in the next world.  Think about this statement very closely and consider the words written there for you.  If you can only see a small part of this world and only know a minor slice of the greater truth that will be revealed later, how can you make a determination now what you will want in the next spiritual dimension?   Your desire to stay married with your present spouse might just change dramatically once you see the awesome power of God.  Your spouse might be the center of your world today, but in the presence of God they could fade and become much less important to you.  I do not mean to say that you will not love them, but according to this verse in first Corinthians you will see them more clearly along with God.

I can almost feel the disappointment that my reader no doubt might be feeling right now.  But, let’s continue with the answer that Jesus is speaking of in his response to marriage after the resurrection.   After Jesus says we will not marry, Jesus says something else that is very profound; he says “we will be as the angels of God”.  We can clearly understand from this statement that angels pre-existed man.    Angels were not created to look like us; we were created to look like them.   But, how are the angels of God?  Jesus implies that angels do not marry each other either.  The implication is that they could marry but that this is not the design of God for them to marry.  You can take this to mean that there must be both male and female angels can’t you?  If there were not any female angels then God would not be able to compare us to them.  We could never be like them, if there were only males.  Do you understand that?  You see when I read in Genesis where the “sons of God” (angels) had sex with the daughters of Adam (women) on the earth and created a race of giants, I wondered if there were any female angels.  It is clear that God says there are male angels.  If God created male angels with male sexual organs and no female angels it would not make any logical sense to me.  I guess I’m getting off of the subject somewhat, but it is a very fascinating concept to consider.  I have to conclude that if people who are resurrected can become like the angels and female humans are included in this group there has to be female angels that exist or they would not really be like anyone else.  The major thing to learn from this statement is that after the resurrection, we will be like the angels of God.  Whatever they do, we can do, whatever they are we are very similar, however they live, we will live also.  Please remember this and I will try to talk more about the angels later.  However, Jesus is not through answering the question and we must see the rest of the answer and put it together correctly:

Mat 22:31  But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,

Here is Jesus beginning to give us another very deep revelation of the spiritual realm.  As you can clearly read, Jesus has not finished speaking about the resurrection.   This next statement is a direct revelation that is very powerful to know:

Mat 22:32  I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

Wow, this is a hard saying from God.  It will go over your head if you are not careful to observe the words that are being communicated on the subject of the resurrection.  What was Jesus saying with this statement?   The words of the prophet were written many hundreds of years after the physical deaths of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  God is saying that at the time the prophet wrote these words, these three men were not dead.  These words confounded the Sadducees who were listening and put them to silence.  You see I have had several very ignorant commenters try to teach me about what happens after physical death occurs and they should have noticed what Jesus just said before they try to tell me what they think.  Some have said the soul and spirit sleep and do not know anything until the time of resurrection.  Some of them have tried to say that the human life is ended when a person dies and there is nothing else for them.  But, God Himself says that they did not die and they are alive and the resurrection has not yet occurred.  Here is one of the most important things you should learn from today’s lesson about spiritual things.  If you are a Christian and your body dies in this world, the Bible says your spirit departs and is present with the Lord (Php 1:23).  Jesus is saying that physical death is not the end; it is only a change of address.  Death is a departure from the physical realm and an entrance into the spiritual realm.  Did you understand what I just said?  If you did not you should go and read it until you do understand it or just ask me some questions about the parts that you do not understand.   What you need to see is that Jesus when speaking to these men on the earth said God is the God of the living and not the dead.  God said Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who had died physically hundreds of years earlier, were not spiritually dead but were called alive.  Let me give you a verse that I alluded to earlier about changing your of perspective after you die:

1Co 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

What I see from studying the Bible are people’s desires, viewpoints and perspectives are purely based upon what they know and have experienced up until this point in time.  In other words your favorite food might be apple pie on the earth, but who knows what it will be when you get to heaven since God could have things there that you have never experienced.   People think that because the love found in their current family has been so special and real to them, that it cannot get any better so I will be happy if I just have this throughout eternity.   However, God says in 1 Corinthians 2:9 that we have no idea or clue to the great and awesome things that He has planned for those who love Him.  I tried to tell you this before, but when you are standing on the streets of gold surrounded by mansions and an innumerable company of angels with the awesome light coming from the throne of God, if you still think and feel the same way that you do today, then God has failed in you knowing Him.

I heard a minister teach about a vision of heaven that he had once where he appeared there and saw things that were so amazing that they are difficult to describe in human terms.  He saw spiritual things and even people he knew and talked to them.  One of his relatives a sister was there and he got to speak to her.  She had died a number of years earlier and she asked him questions about her family that she left there was doing and I think these questions shocked him.  You see she did not know what was happening on the earth in the physical realm so she had to ask questions about it to her brother who had just came from there to visit.  Her brother did not tell her that her husband had remarried but, said that they were all doing fine.  You see people in heaven do not see things the same way and they do not care about the natural realm in what you ate today and what we are wearing or even who you are married to.  People in heaven do not care what kind of car you are driving or what kind of house you are living in.  Things in the natural realm are very unimportant to people in the spiritual realm.  It is a complete opposite perspective to what people on the earth are focused in on.  Those in heaven only care if you know Jesus and are saved and that you are growing up spiritually.  The eternal things are so much more important than the natural things of this world, that our perspectives are totally different after we leave here.   Here is a verse that certainly applies to what I am trying to say to you today:

1Co 7:34  There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

God is comparing two women in this verse and it clearly says there is a major difference between them.  But, do not take it out of context or try to say that God is saying you should not get married.  You see if people did not get married and have children, there would be no harvest for God to come back to get.  God is simply showing us how a perspective changes when you are married.  You see things differently than someone who is not married.  You can also take this into the spiritual realm comparison between someone who is spiritual versus someone who is naturally minded.  If you are focused on Jesus, then you want to please Him and if you are married your focus is shifted to your spouse.  When you get to heaven, who do you want your focus to be on?  What do you think God wants your focus to be on?

So I am not saying today that you will not love your spouse when you get to heaven.  I’m not saying you cannot spend a lot of time with your former spouse in heaven.  I am just saying that in heaven you will see things more clearly than you do today.  You will be able to see God for the first time there and you will know Him better than you have ever known Him.  I personally believe that the experience of heaven will truly be overwhelming.   I believe God has some awesome things prepared for us and when we begin to see them, the past will become just what it was, a spec of inconsequential meaning that pales to the definition of an eternity with God.  The human mind cannot fully comprehend infinite and eternal concepts of time.  No doubt we will be able to do things in eternity that we never imagined in our short life span on the earth.  So I have much more to say on this subject, but I have gone long enough today.  I’ll give you a list of key points from today’s lesson about marriage before and after the resurrection.

  1. Marriage is a blood covenant union between a man and a woman.
  2. Divorce is not permitted except for infidelity.
  3. There is a physical resurrection coming where we get a new glorified body.
  4. Just because you die physically does not mean you are not alive spiritually.  You exist just not here in the physical realm. 
  5. After you die physically, your marriage in the natural realm is over.
  6. This does not mean Christians will not know each other in the spiritual realm in fact you will definitely carry over your memories and experiences in this life into the next.
  7. We will see things clearly then and not be limited in our perspective as we are now.
  8. Jesus said in the next realm we will:
    1. Not marry
    2. Not be given in marriage
    3. Be as the angels in heaven

I see marriage, children and families as natural things that God has created for us to teach us about spiritual things.  If we did not have these things we would not be able to understand the future spiritual reality that we will soon all experience with Him.  So my reader asked me if her marriage could continue and this is a difficult question to attempt to answer today.  I hope I have not disappointed anyone in my answer with what the Bible says.  I do not believe that you will be disappointed after you get to heaven in any degree.  There are many things that you do not know yet, so keep learning them and you will see things more and more clearly as we approach Him who is calling us to a greater and higher ability to see.

Understanding the Coming Anti-Christ! And the Homosexual Agenda! Part 4

(Ver 1.2)  This is Part 4 in a series of lessons on understanding the coming antichrist.  If you have not read this series from the beginning, I would recommend that you go and start with “Part 1”.

Gal 4:16  Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Today I may lose some readers, but I am going to speak the truth and I do not care what your response is to what I have to say today.  According to what Paul wrote in Galatians 4:16 he experienced what I may experience today also.  Paul wrote some tough words for the church at Galatia and many of the hearers were clearly offended and could not handle the truth.  I will warn you that today I will be very blunt at times and at times very direct in what I teach.  The country of America has been in a rapidly progressive moral decline for the past 50 years and recent events have only come to confirm this.  There is an evil spiritual agenda to erode and eventually erase the moral fiber of the established Biblical history and foundation of our country.  While the United States is by far not a perfect country, the establishment of a Christian nation caused God to bless us tremendously for over the past 250 years and to cause us to grow to be the leading power of the world.  Around 390 years ago, the people of Europe were tired of the religious oppression and control that was being forced upon them and so they came to America to worship God freely without persecution.   The United States and its founders were highly motivated by God and the Bible and they built and designed our government using established Bible principles.    While the founding fathers of the U.S. incorporated and defined the freedom of religion to be the moral background to worship the One True Living God of the Bible, they left in obvious loop holes that allow other choices to be made.  Obviously this is another Bible principle being written into our constitution that is backed up by God’s Word.  You see, God does not promote a Forced Salvation theology, despite what a lot of my ignorant commenters like to tell me.  Man was created with freewill to choose and this was a choice to either believe in Jesus or not to believe in Jesus as their Savior and Lord.   So while our country goes through these changes from the Godless leadership of our President and Congress, it saddens me tremendously while not surprising me in the least little bit.   I of course am speaking of the recent government decision to allow homosexuals in our military openly.  There has been an openly aggressive agenda from the spiritual realm to redefine morality and what is acceptable to God.  I call this the homosexual agenda and I will discuss this agenda in conjunction to its relationship of the subject of the coming antichrist.  Here are the progressive steps of the homosexual agenda that have transpired up until this point in time of the homosexual agenda:

  1. Pervert the human sexual orientation, identity and behavior and cause personal confusion.
  2. Redefine morality and sin to be an open minded concept free from the Bible’s input.
  3. Encourage sexual identity development using the coming our process.
  4. Highlight established social acceptance emphasizing diversity using the stars found in the media and television.
  5. Show the gay lifestyle in the movies and TV as being a viable reality.
  6. Nominate gay TV shows, movies and actors for awards to promote them as being great role models for our children.
  7. Introduce children to the gay life style early so that they can better determine their true identity.
  8. Shame any church or preacher that teaches against homosexuality as being a sin by calling them intolerant, biased, bigoted and hateful.
  9. Never show the consequences, hurt and true pain caused by the homosexual life style nor the suicides it causes.
  10. Overly emphasize any negative acts committed against a gay man or woman as being a hate crime of great evil against a good person and a clear violation of their civil rights to gain sympathy for the cause.
  11. Promote human sexuality as being a pre-ordained design pattern and not a human life choice.
  12. Elevate the homosexual life styles to be a legal civil right of a minority group of consensual adults.
  13. Hide or downplay the abusive perverted homosexual behavior of child molesters unless they are committed by a religious figure or leader.
  14. Never mention any serial killers as being homosexual even though they killed many young boys.
  15. Shift human choices off of the individual and alleviate any personal responsibility for sin.
  16. Redefine marriage to be between any two adults regardless of sex and ignore the Bible.

These are just a few of the observable patterns that I have personally witnessed in my life time on the earth from the homosexual agenda.  They are clearly represented in the news media, on TV talk shows, in movies, magazines and now on the internet and the determined purpose is to change the thinking minds of those who are being raised in the ignorance of the truth.  It is a clear technique in brain washing the people to accept the coming antichrist.  They are all cleverly designed ploys of deception to cause people to buy into a lie.

I had a commenter ask me why I used a blanked out picture of the face of the President in my recent article on the “Antichrist”?  Was I saying that Obama was the antichrist?  No, I was not saying that at all.  Obama does not fit the information given to us in the Bible about the antichrist.  I do not know who the antichrist is right now.  However, I have learned by studying the Bible how the antichrist will operate and what he will do to gain his power and control, to change the world and redefine the freedoms of our founding fathers.  No you see when a man rises rapidly to power that has no basis to be in power, and has done so in a fashion causing so many people to buy into his smooth way of talking, it says to me BEWARE A DECEIVER!  No I do not believe that Obama is the antichrist, but I do believe that he is a forerunner to the coming agenda of the antichrist and also a pattern of this man.  I believe the similarities are unmistakably recognizable.  I believe that this is the exact way the antichrist will come to power and that is why I used the picture and for no other reason.  What I see is a man who says one thing and then does something that is the opposite.  Here is a man that promotes himself as a Christian in speeches, but acts more like a godless non-believer in his decision processes.  You see Jesus said you will know them by their fruit and not by their words.  Anybody can say I am a Christian, but only a few will actually back up those words with appropriate corresponding actions to prove it.  According to Jesus you can tell who is a Christian and who is not a Christian simply by observing the external actions of a man.  Here is a man that promotes and drives abortions and the rights of women to choose, human genetic and stem cell research, homosexuality and I could go on and on.  All I know is that he does not act like a Christian so you decide what he is.  So, while I believe that Christians are not supposed to preach against sinners, I do believe that we should teach how not to be deceived by the words of someone who does not bear the fruit of righteousness.  There is absolutely no way that our President got voted into office without the clear support of a great number of deceived Christians who voted for him.  I can tell you plainly that I was not one of these.  So today’s lesson is about the coming deception of the antichrist and how the slow creeping infestation of the homosexual agenda being forced upon the world fits directly into his perverted plan.

We will begin our study of the antichrist using a couple of verses found in the Book of Daniel.  The book of Daniel has a lot of prophecies concerning this coming individual and these will be important to see and understand.  We will read beginning in Chapter 11 and verse 36:

Dan 11:36  And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Daniel was God’s prophet and he speaks the words of God given to him.  Daniel is speaking of the coming antichrist king and tells us more about his personality and character.  We again see clear references to his ability to speak things against the “God of gods”.  That is a very interesting title and an important revelation to be understood, but I won’t get it into it in this blog.  The antichrist continues to magnify himself to be God and clearly is attempting to deceive the simple minded people of the earth.  It is interesting to note that this verse says that Satan is doing his will and not the will of God.  Too many ignorant Christian believe that God is in ultimate control of everything that happens in the world, but that is just not what the Bible says.  Here is a prime example of how another’s will is done and not God’s will.  The Hebrew word in this verse translated as “indignation” is a very strong word.  It means to “froth” or “foam” at the mouth.  In my last blog on this subject I taught you that this man will have power coming from his mouth and this verse is just further connection to his mouth and his words being a determining factor.  God says that this “indignation” of his mouth will continue until someone puts an end to it and shuts him up and I believe that someone is God and His Word.  The final word in this verse that I want to point out is the Hebrew word translated as “determined” and this word means “to wound”.  If you do not know it God prophesied in Genesis 3:15 that the woman and her seed would bruise his head and I believe that God is giving us a direct prophetic reference to this event in this verse.  The man of sin will continue to speak great boastful words against God until God bruises the head of the serpent under the feet of the church (Romans 16:20) and causes him to be wounded.  However, this will not be the end of the antichrist because he will later appear to miraculously recover from this head wound as we will see in Revelation.

Dan 11:37  Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Here is the verse that I wanted to focus in on today in regard to the homosexual agenda being forced upon the world.  It is very clear to me that God is telling us in this verse that the antichrist is a male who is not interested in women.  What do you call a man like this, besides crazy?  You call him a homosexual.  This tells me that the antichrist will fully embrace the homosexual agenda and that he is actually the one that is behind it all in the first place.  If you think about this you will see why he is doing it.  The anti-Christ is opposed to everything that God does.  If God created them male and female then the anti-Christ is for the opposite which would be male and male or female and female.  Whatever Christ did or is doing, the anti-Christ will do the complete opposite.  The Bible clearly informs us that Christ the Lamb of God will clearly marry a bride in Revelation 21:9.  So it is very easy to assume that if Christ has a wife, the anti-Christ will have a same sex partner that will pervert what God has created.   Of course the anti-Christ is technically a spiritual being in a physical body and he will use this knowledge to try to get out of the sentence of being tormented in hell for an eternity.  But, this will not be successful.  We can see however, that when the antichrist comes on the scene he will definitely promote and embrace the homosexual lifestyle as a normal way of life and this is what is happening in the U.S. right now.

Let’s shift gears and talk about the easiest way to deceive people.  How do you get a dog to eat strychnine poison?   You always wrap the poison in a tasty steak before you give it to them.  This is what the homosexual community has been doing in America for the last 50 years.   The homosexual community saw how the civil rights movement worked to become so effective and they jumped on the same band wagon.  They chose to compare their sinful lifestyle to the color of someone’s skin and call them the same things.  Obviously no man chose the color of their skin in this world.  We were all born here without given a choice to being a male or a female.   We were all born in the world without selecting our nation of origin. We did not even get to choose our parents or our relatives; so obviously all of these factors transfer to morality, sin and other elements in life, or not!   They have introduced a fabrication of the truth to say “we were born homosexual” and they deny any choices ever being made on their own part.  The problem with this logic is how do you differentiate between a homosexual and a child molester type of pedophile?   Why can’t the pedophile use the same argument and just say this is the way I was born?  What about the murderer who just loves to kill people for fun?  Can’t they be smart enough to jump on the civil rights band wagon and say this is just how I was born?  I’ll bet you that homosexuals love the “Predestination Theology”  so that they can attribute that this was the way that God created them to be and they cannot change so we should just all accept them exactly like they are.   

In all fairness to homosexuals and other sinners in the world, most of them do what they do out of ignorance.  When Saul persecuted the church and threw them into jail and caused the death of some of them, Paul later wrote that what he had done was done out of ignorance (1 Tim 1:13).  In other words Paul didn’t know any better but he still sinned against God anyway.  While he thought he was doing the right thing before God, he was actually a direct enemy to God.  So sinners also do not understand that there are spiritual forces controlling and influencing what they do.  They do not understand demon possession and how that a spirit can cause you to do something like sin.   They do not understand that everything we do has consequences in this world good or bad.  Since they are oblivious to spiritual things, they do not even know who or what they really are.  Many say they are females trapped in a male body.  Others say they are a male trapped in a female body.  Heaven forbid that they are a spirit trapped in a human body?  Since they do not know they are a spiritual being and not just a body they simply are controlled to follow what feels good to them and what satisfies their thoughts of perverted fantasies that are being placed in their simple minds by evil spirits.  No, they choose to embrace a message that evil spirits do not exist and only what matters is what they want to do in this present world, so therefore you should be more open and tolerant to how God has created them to be.  I’m sorry but I just cannot do that.  While I love you, I do not love your sin and I will not receive it to be an acceptable lifestyle.  If I did that today, what would I do on judgment day?  There is coming a time of judgment from God when you could look at me and say, why didn’t you tell me the truth and I will be at the least able to say I tried to, why didn’t you listen and look for the truth while you could?  In this way your blood will not be on my hands.  If I remained silent your blood could be on my hands in the future.  What do you think I should do?  Am I being intolerant for speaking the truth?  Or am I just shooting a warning shot across your bow to get your attention before it’s too late?

The homosexual agenda wants the world to say “I understand and it’s OK!”  They think that by getting the majority of the world to agree that their lifestyle is acceptable that this will somehow affect the way God feels about them.   Unfortunately for all sinners in the world God does not run a democratic system of spiritual government where the majority rules.  God is the only one that makes the majority decisions and He is the only one whose opinion matters.  My opinion is worthless, your opinion is worthless and your lover’s opinion is also worthless.  In fact the Supreme Court’s opinion is worthless and so is the opinion of the lawmakers of our country.  Just because they passed a law this weekend that further promotes a sinful lifestyle to be a normal and an acceptable civil right freedom, does not and will not ever make it right or change what God thinks about it.  You can do whatever you like and ignore the Bible if that is what makes you feel justified in your life style choices.  You can rip the pages out of the Bible where it says that when a man lies with another man like a woman it is an abomination to God and they both should be put to death (Lev 18:22, Lev 20:13).  You can rip out the page that says when a woman dresses like a man or a man dresses like a woman that it is also an abomination to God (Deu 22:5).  You can rip out the pages of Genesis 13 where God sends two angels to destroy the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah for living their ungodly homosexual lifestyles.  You can pretend that these two cities never existed, even when the Bible says that these cities were destroyed as an example for those who would come after who do the same (2 Peter 2:6).  This verse is a clear warning to those that desire to call their lifestyles normal.  These are verses that declare clearly the homosexual lifestyle to be a perversion and not the way that God created people to be.   If they only knew the truth, Jesus said the truth would set them free from their bondage.

The next key step in the homosexual agenda is the universal redefinition of marriage.  It is already started in many states and when the Vice President was asked about Gay marriage, he spoke on TV this morning about the country becoming an evolving community of openness.  This is exactly the homosexual agenda in action, however I call it the evolving level of deception, but I’m sure they do not see it this way.  Take away God’s Word and introduce a new world order for the definition of marriage and morality.  By allowing men to marry men and women to marry women it further enforces their normalcy in the minds of those that practice it.   The antichrist will love this work that is being accomplished for him and I’m sure he is watching anxiously for the completion of the deception.  I hope that you join with me in praying for those that are deceived so that they will come to know the truth before it is too late.  God Bless!

The True Identity of the Woman in Revelation 12! Part 10

This is now Part 10 of a series of lessons on the True Identity of the Woman in Revelation 12.  While I have said a lot of new things on this subject, there is certainly more that I can say.  If you have not read this series from the beginning I would highly recommend that you start your reading with “Part 1” and go forward from there in order to understand everything that has been taught up to this point.   Today will be more confirming follow up information and some new perspectives on some things that the Spirit of God has taught me about this subject recently.  I have not written about this subject in a long time, but this is the way God works so I always try to go with the flow of the Holy Spirit.  I will probably repeat some things that I have said in other blogs but, I’ll try to give you a new spiritual perspective on what it all means at the same time and how it relates to the woman in Revelation 12.  I have found that no matter how long you teach or study any subject in the Bible, that there is always more to learn.  You just cannot exhaust God’s knowledge on any subject.  Part of today’s lesson will be focused upon the condition of the woman first described to us in verse 2.  Too many Christians have ignore key symbolic elements given to us in this chapter and have concluded that this woman is Israel or Mary because they assume that the child is Jesus.  I believe that I have shown you clearly many scriptural backings that the Bible says that this woman cannot be Israel or Mary.   I also personally believe that most or all of the burden of proof of whether this woman in Revelation 12 can be the church, rests entirely upon God and His Word and not upon me or you.  In other words I’m not just looking for scriptures to confirm my opinion on the identity of the woman in Revelation 12, I’m just looking for the truth no matter what it is, or who it is. 

So if God describes this woman as being pregnant in Rev 12:2, can a spiritual woman called the church become this way?  If the answer is yes, then how is this possible?  This information will clearly tell us something very profound and help to confirm what I have already taught you about the woman; I hope and pray that you can see it also.  I will warn you that part of today’s subject is a very advanced Bible lesson about sex and that is a scary subject to many Christians.  You cannot discuss a pregnancy without discussing sex unless you choose to bury your head in the sand and ignore it.  If you are not a mature Christian and have not agreed with what was taught in the first parts of this series, then I would suggest that you go and read somebody else’s blog today.  If you have read this series of lessons and can clearly see that this woman described to us in Revelation is the church, then please continue reading today’s lesson about spiritual sex.  Here is the first foundational scripture for today’s lesson:

Rev 12:2  And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

We can clearly see from reading Revelation 12:2 that whoever this woman is, the woman is said to be pregnant and about to deliver a child.  If this woman is a symbolic representation of the spiritual reality called the church, then I believe all of the other references found in this chapter describing her are also symbolic spiritual realities, including the child that is delivered later in the chapter.  I have already covered verse 1 in some depth so I will not rehash those symbolic references again today.  However, I have not even touched on verse 2 in this series so I will start here today with asking you the million dollar question that arises from reading this verse.  So how does a spiritual woman get pregnant?  You may not totally understand what a spiritual woman is using God’s definitions found in the Bible so you might need to stop and go and read some of my other Bible lessons to better understand this subject.   Here is a very quick overview of what the Bible describes as a woman to God.  Technically speaking a spiritual woman is always a nation of people in covenant or married to God.  If you do not understand this I wrote other lessons about God’s definition of a woman and marriage in my series on “Understanding the Bride of Christ”.  These days if you are older than 12 years old you pretty much know how a physical woman gets pregnant so I will not discuss that, but we are definitely talking about a spiritual woman in this chapter and that is a totally different situation while at the same time being completely the same.  Here now is a verse that Jesus taught to us in the book of John and you will probably read it at first and not even know why I included it next about a study of how a spiritual woman gets pregnant.

Joh 14:17  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Jesus taught us something about knowing the truth that is very profound and extremely important to understand.  Wow, this is a difficult verse to see and understand and even more difficult to discuss when you do understand it.  We should start by saying that Jesus called himself the Truth (John 14:6).  Therefore, the Spirit of Truth would be the Spirit of Jesus Christ.  Then the verse has a phrase that says “and (He the Spirit of Truth) shall be in you” and that is the part that I want you to focus on first.  This phrase has sexual connotations attached to it everywhere.  However, the terminology is in the context of a spiritual state or reality, since the word “He” is referring to the Spirit of God, who is a Spirit.  To get a natural woman pregnant you either have to get a sperm cell (seed) in her naturally or artificially as modern science can accomplish with surgical instrumentation and procedures.   I warned you that this was going to be a mature subject, so please be mature and keep spiritual things in focus.    While spiritual sex is not like natural sex, God actually calls them the exact same thing throughout the Bible, but you probably just didn’t know that until now.  Here in this verse of John 14:17 there is a Greek word translated as to “know” and it says the unsaved world doesn’t “know” Him, but that the church does “know” Him.  If you go back to the first mention of sex in the Bible and a woman getting pregnant, you find by the law of first mention some basic Bible truths to the reality of what God wants us to understand about the subject of sexual and spiritual reproduction.  The first mention of sex that I could find in the Bible is between the first created man and woman in Genesis 4:1 and it says this:

Gen 4:1  And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

How does God say Eve conceived a child?  It clearly says Adam “knew” Eve and she conceived a son named Cain.  The Hebrew word translated as “knew” means “to know” or “to ascertain by seeing”.  That is a highly important definition of the word God created for the natural act of sex between the husband and the wife.   So what does it mean and how does it apply to what we read in John?  What we need to do is to take a natural occurrence example and correctly transfer it into a spiritual meaning; otherwise we will be just confused.  To see or to ascertain are both terms that can be transferred to “knowing” or “understanding” a subject mentally.  There is technically a great difference between knowing something and understanding something.  You can certainly know your wife but never totally understand her.  God never said that Adam “understood” Eve and she became pregnant.  So I just went down a brief rabbit trail on the related subject of understanding vs. knowledge.  What you must realize is that it takes a concentrated effort to understand anything or anyone and that this understanding only comes after the initial step of gaining knowledge.  If you do not understand these concepts I would suggest that you go back and read my lesson on “Knowledge, Understanding and Wisdom”. 

In order to prove to you that I’m not making this stuff up, I’m going to teach you a valuable lesson on how to study the Bible correctly.  Because the New Testament is written in Greek originally and the Old Testament is written in Hebrew predominantly; how can you insure that when I use a word from Genesis translated as “knew” that it is the same exact word that is related to “know” in John 14:17?  That is a really good question to consider and I’m going to answer it for you right now.  Too many people just assume they are the same or even different words and jump to conclusions that could be potentially wrong.  So what do we do to solve this problem?  First we find a verse that is in both the Old Testament and the New Testament with the word “Know” in it and then we look to see if they are the same words that we looked at in both Genesis 4:1 and John 14:17.  Do you understand what I am doing?  I am proving that the Greek word in John 14:17 is the exact same Hebrew word translated as Adam “Knew” his wife in Genesis 4:1 in order for you to clearly see that they are related subjects.  So I looked for a verse in the New Testament with the word “know” and determined if it was a quoted verse from the Old Testament.  If we can find a verse in the N.T. that is quoted from the O.T. we can automatically see what Hebrew words are directly related to what Greek words.  However, this is easier said than done; unless you have a NASB translation of the Bible on your computer.  In the NASB translation they put all Old Testament quotes in ALL CAPS making it much easier to see quickly that it is the same verse as one that is being quoted.  So I found this one in Hebrews 8:11:

Heb 8:11  And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

This just so happens to be a quotation from the prophet Jeremiah.  If you notice this word translated as “know” is G1097 in the Strong’s.   If you go back to read John 14:17 again and look up the Greek word for “know” you will find that it is the exact same word in this verse.  So we can by logical deduction conclude that we have half of the puzzle solved on the New Testament side.  Then we go to Jeremiah 31:34 and see what word God used in this original verse that was quoted in the N.T. to see if it is related to the Genesis 4:1 word being used for sex.

Jer 31:34  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

As you can see in this verse if you look for it, the Hebrew word translated as “know” is the word “H3045” in the Strong’s and guess what, that is the exact same word translated as “knew” in Genesis 4:1.  So by doing some extended analysis of the Bible, we have confirmed that God is talking about spiritual sex in John 14:17 using the same word; this is clearly not a natural act in John but, is on a spiritual scale.  God is basically saying that having knowledge of Him is like having sex with your wife or your husband.   So how do you get the knowledge of God?  The only way that I know to do this is to read and to study His Word.  And guess what the Bible says the Word is?  The Bible calls God’s Word His Seed (Mat 13:23, Mark 4:14).  Guess what a natural man’s sperm is called in the Bible, it is called his seed.  Are you beginning to see the parallels given to us in the Bible between these two subjects?  This is obviously a very complex concept to understand for some because they are only thinking naturally.  When you think only naturally as you attempt to interpret the Bible you are thinking as an enemy of God the Bible says (Rom 8:7).  So you can search your New Testament and see that the word “know” is used frequently when discussing God’s relationship to the church.  But, it is also a two way street as a type of relationship; we obtain to know God and then God knows us.  You can see these in verses like John 17:3, Eph 1:17, 2 Pet 1:8, 1 John 4:2, 4:6 and 1 John 5:20 to give you a head start in your Bible study search.  There are many scripture verses in the N.T. that also says we the church, are “In Christ” and that “Christ is in us”.  This is just another example of this two way street that I was referring to earlier.  You can find verses like this in Romans 8:10-11, 1 Cor 1:6, 1 Cor 3:1, 2 Cor 1:21, 2 Cor 13:5, Gal 4:19, Col 1:27, 1 Th 1:1, 1 Th 1:12, Php 1:6 and 1 Peter 5:14.  What these verses say is that we are in Christ and that Christ is also in us simultaneously.  What I am attempting to do with all of these verse references is demonstrate to you using God’s spiritual Words that the church is in a spiritual sexual relationship with God.  That I know is not very religious sounding for sure.  But, nevertheless it is what the Bible says and clearly implies.  God knows us and we know God, that is how the church can get pregnant spiritually speaking.

I guess what I want to do next is to demonstrate to you that a spiritual woman can become pregnant and give birth to spiritual children using verses found in the Bible.  By doing this analysis of the Bible to confirm that it has happened before, means that it can happen again.  I want to introduce you to a woman named in the Bible as the “Heavenly Jerusalem”.  I have talked about her in other Bible lessons so this is not something new for many of my faithful readers.  However, this woman is extremely important to see as an example of how a spiritual city of God’s doing can be called by God a woman who gives birth.  Let’s start by reading in Galatians 4:22:

Gal 4:22  For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

What God does is something that is very profound.  God takes the story of Abraham and uses it to teach us a spiritual lesson about God.  We learn in verse 24 that God calls this an “allegory”.  An allegory is always a real natural historical event with real people that reflect a type of a hidden spiritual truth.  I had one very ignorant minister write me an email that God does not use allegory and that allegory was an invention of the medieval dark ages.  He must have learned this at the cemetery, I mean seminary.  This minister obviously did not know how to read because God says right here in this chapter of Galatians that He does use allegories and that they are very important to understand correctly.  So let’s continue looking at the story of Abraham and see what God reveals to us.

If you did not realize it father Abraham is being used as a type of God the Father.  This verse in Galatians 4:22 says God had more than one son, did you know that?  Obviously a lot of ignorant NIV Bible translators did not know this, for they interpret God’s only begotten son (Jo 3:16) to be “God’s One and Only Son”.  I guess I won’t go there today any more than I already have.  Next in this chapter God says this:

Gal 4:23  But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

So now we start to learn some really new things about God.  According to this verse and others going forward we can see that God the Father had two wives.   Remember that this story is an allegory and keep that all in mind as you study it.  We have the one wife mentioned as being a type of Sarah, the freewoman.  But first, we have another woman mentioned being a type of Hagar, the slave woman.   These are mentioned in referees order from last to first wife based upon the story and I’ll talk more about this soon.  These are clearly two different women and two different children produced by them so they are both directly called “mothers”.  A mother is a woman who gives birth to a child, so this is not complicated just totally new stuff to many who have never studied it.

Gal 4:24  Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

So we are just getting deeper and deeper and I hope you came ready to swim, otherwise you are about to drown in the deep end of the pool.   God tells us that these are two covenants.  If we know that God the Father is a type of Abraham we know that God is saying something that is shockingly new to most people who study the Bible.  You see God is not talking about Jesus’ covenant with the church here at all and that will definitely put a kink in your religious theology.   Most every Christian realizes that the Bible is divided into the Old and New Testaments and surely you know that the word “Testament” means “Covenant”.   So our Bibles tell us that God divided His word into two separate relationships.  One is with the Old Testament nation of Israel and one is with the New Testament church.  However, it is impossible for these to be the covenants that God is talking about using the information that we learn about in this allegory.  You can clearly see in Galatians 4:24 that God starts telling us that one of these covenants is with a woman who is a type of Hagar who bears Ishmael for Abraham.  Let’s read the next verse for more information on who this allegorical bond woman represents:

Gal 4:25  For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

God tells us very clearly that the slave woman Hagar represents the Earthly city of Jerusalem and this corresponds to the covenant given to Moses on Mt Sinai.  Right here we have a major puzzle being presented to us and this is a very complex situation to resolve.  If you do not think so, then why was this riddle not solved a long time ago?  What we can see is that the Old Covenant given to Israel in the Old Testament is the marriage of God to the nation of natural people and God calls her a type of Hagar because she is still in bondage with her children.  What is the nation of Israel in bondage to?  It is the law of God!  These are the people who are still forced to keep the commandments of God and this causes them to remain in bondage.

I did not mean to get into so much detail about the Galatians 4 women in this lesson on the woman in Revelation 12, but it is important enough for you to clearly understand that I am just going to have to do it anyway.  What we learn about one woman in the Bible always applies to the subject of other women found in the Bible.  However this woman is qualified differently because she is a bond woman and the other is a free woman.  So let’s get back to the women in Galatians 4.  If Hagar is type of the Old Testament wife of God, then Sarah the older woman must represent a covenant that existed prior to Hagar coming into Abraham’s family as a slave.  If you study the story of Abraham and Sarah, Sarah was said to be a much older mature woman than Hagar.  Hagar is described as being an Egyptian woman and Abraham and Sarah went to Egypt many years after they were married.  Sarah was also Abraham’s ½ sister and thus we have some more perplexing complexity to consider.  So if Abraham marries his ½ sister and then many years later leaves his father house to go to Egypt, we must conclude that Hagar who was a much younger woman is a covenant that occurs some time later in Abraham’s life.  So logically we have to conclude that the covenant that God is referring to here in this chapter of Galatians is a covenant that He had entered into long before the one that He made with the people of Israel on the earth.  Also keep in mind that Sarah was always called the barren woman who was unable to have children.  According to the Bible this is why Sarah gives Hagar to her husband to have a son.  Anyway this part of the allegory is not that complex, however it is totally new stuff to many so it will be hard to accept.  Here is the next verse that I wanted to get to about Sarah the free woman:

Gal 4:26  But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Here we have another woman named “Jerusalem” but she is called the “Jerusalem which is above”.  Obviously this is a completely different city than Jerusalem below.  So we can also automatically know that she exists in the spiritual realm, being labeled “above”.  This woman has to be a spiritual reality and she is inferred to be a type of the allegorical Sarah who was barren.  So Sarah must also be a pre-existing covenant of God the Father to someone else not on the earth, but in the spiritual realm.  You can see more clearly who this is by reading in Hebrews 12:22 where God tell us that this city is called the “Heavenly Jerusalem” and that this city consisted of an innumerable company of angels.  We can deduce logically that Jerusalem Above and Heavenly Jerusalem are synonymous names for the same city.  What we can logically conclude is that God was in covenant with the angels and that this heavenly city was a spiritual relationship that existed prior to God’s relationship with the nation of Israel who was a type of Hagar.  This logically makes sense to me based upon what I have learn from studying the Bible.  Of course there is a ton of more things that I could teach you from this simple allegory given to us in Galatians 4, but I do not have the time or space to do that today. 

What I have done is shown you a city named Heavenly Jerusalem that God calls the spiritual mother of the church.  We clearly understand that the mother must be a spiritual reality since Jesus taught us that, “that which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit” (John 3:6).  We therefore, know that this spiritual mother (woman) pre-existed prior to the creation or birth of the church in order to have us as her children and to fit the allegorical pattern given to us as the barren Sarah.

Gal 4:27  For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

God quotes another Old Testament prophet named Isaiah (54:1) here and reveals to us some more of the mysteries of these two women and covenants in the Bible.  These are presented to us as a small part of a much greater, elaborate and perplexing puzzle or riddle from God.  Reading in Isaiah 54:1 this barren woman is told to sing, rejoice and shout for joy because she has finally given birth to the promised children of God.   It is very interesting to note that the Greek word translated as “travail” in this verse is only found 3 times in the N.T.  That is certainly not a coincidence by far, for you see that word occurs two times here in Galatians 4 and once in Rev 12:2.  The only other verse here in Galatians 4 is verse 19 where it says Paul is travailing in birth until Christ is formed in them that this letter is written to.  You obviously know that Paul was a male apostle of the early church, so how can this man give birth to anything or anyone?   It is not physically possible, so it must be only spiritually possible.  That is the mystery being revealed to us; church members can give spiritual birth to a spiritual being.  This confirms that the church is a female who can give birth.  This verse of prophecy in Gal 4:27 has a lot more complex information in it but again I just cannot get into today.  If you go and read some of my other blogs you might see some of the clues that I have revealed.  Here is the last verse in Galatians that I will talk about:

Gal 4:28  Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

This verse basically says what I have been trying to say in previous paragraphs.  This verse calls us (the church) the children of the “Heavenly Jerusalem” a type of Isaac who was the promised son to Abraham and Sarah from God.  Do you understand how amazing this story is?  God promises Abraham a son through Sarah and it turns out to be a type of the church.  This further implies that every child born under the Old Covenant woman of Hagar is not the promised seed so they will be cast out of the house as the story teaches us in Genesis 21:10 and they will not be the heirs with the free children.  Wow, that is bad news for the natural nation of Israel.  God clearly calls the nation of Israel the Ishmael’s of the world today.  This I know will be pretty difficult stuff to grasp for many Christians. 

What I have demonstrated to you is very clear Bible evidence that a spiritual woman can have spiritual children.  Logically we can make the following spiritual conclusions based upon our knowledge naturally created things and the verses that we have just studied:

  1.  A Spiritual woman can give birth to a spiritual child.
  2. There must have been a spiritual conception in order for there to be a spiritual child.
  3. In order for a spiritual conception to occur, spiritual knowledge must have been exchanged.
  4. In order for a spiritual woman to conceive a Spiritual Father is also required.
  5. God is always the Spiritual Father in every covenant marriage.

If you understand the Bible and covenants better now, you know that God the Father was in covenant with the spiritual angels in heaven prior to making a covenant with the nation of Israel on the earth.  This knowledge helps us to better understand why God created our world, Adam and Eve, and had a son named Jesus who came to make a New Covenant with us.  Because the New Covenant is now with the risen Son of God, God the Father tells us that the Old Covenants with Israel and the angels have been terminated.  This is exactly why the Bible says that Satan should not have crucified the Lord of Glory on the cross (1 Cor 2:8).

I have given more than enough evidence found in the Bible that the church qualifies to be the woman in Revelation 12 who gives birth to a son.  I hope and pray that you have enjoyed studying about this subject and who knows I will probably write more on it later.  God Bless you until next time.
